I expected better quality, maybe rubber. I probably expected too much.

Sturdy. Not too hard to assembly. Bottom support came without holes being drilled for casters. Overstock sent a replacement support. Was listed as "dark cherry," but was definitely black.

I have been using this for over a year now and wanted to share my experience. This was easy to assemble when it came in and also looked in my study. But after a prolonged use it gave me Tendonitis. Wrist hurts like hell, not sure what it is. After spending close to $XX, now I have to throw it away. I even bought a new chair thinking that was the issue. I'm a petite woman (about 5.3) and weigh about 125 lbs. My husband who is around 5.7 also tried it for few days and it gave him elbow pain. Not sure what is, but don't buy this.

This stand is ok. It doesn't feel too flimsy, but it doesn't feel very strong either. We are using it on a stage, so having a bright white bottom (which didn't show in the pictures) was something we had to fix right away. It has a very small heigh adjustment, about six inches. When I took the pieces out of the box, the heigh adjusting bar was stuck inside the center support. It took a LOT of shaking and prying to get it assembled. Currently it's on sale, but for the price tag I would have definitely got something else.

    Not great quality

I bought two of these - a 60", and a 66". The top is supposed to be "laminate", but the 1 & 3/16" particle-board desktop is only covered with a very thin - and I mean ULTRA thin - veneer. I am concerned the top will not be durable in every-day usage. The edges of the desk surface is NOT laminate. It is a hard plastic strip, probably glued in-place. Also, the pre-drilled and pre-tapped holes in the legs, designed to screw in the pedestal and back were slightly "obscured" by the outer surface of the legs - meaning though the hole was in the right place, the screw would not go in because the screw-hole was obscured. Fortunately, I had the tools to remove the necessary material from the opening and properly expose the screw hole. The shipping box provided minimal protection and the sheer weight of the desktops completely smashed the small Styrofoam pieces used to protect the corners. This allowed ALL the parts to move around inside the box enough to marr and abrade the desktop corners AND ...
