I needed a small file, of a very specific size, to put inside a cabinet. The glass top rolling file was the only one that was advertised as 14" wide. Pros: Graphite finish is different, durable looking, and attractive Cabinet parts fit together well Hardware and parts are good quality Can be assembled without rollers or top and will fit in very small spaces Sturdy locking mechanism Cons: Actually 15.5" wide (I can barely squeeze it into its spot) Screw holes and slots need to have paint cleared out of them for parts to fit together (easy to do) Because of this, care must be taken to not crack the finish when inserting screws Assembly illustrations are sometimes unclear - specifically for installing the lock. If it does not work, reinstall it, "upside down". The glass top is a bright blue, (not evident in the photo).

I like this cabinet a lot, easy to move and it's perfect size for a litlle home office. If you have a lot of files this won't be a good choice but for personal use if perfect.

If you have put together a file cabinet before, this will be a snap, however, as a first timer I did have a few mis-steps. It took me about 3 1/2 house to put together by myself and about 30 minutes were spent correcting mistakes I have made. The instructions, though mostly very clear, we slightly confusing in the steps regarding putting on the sliders and installing the key lock. I did both of these incorrect the first time, but was able to see clearly the corrections that needed to be made when trying to put the drawers in. After completing the cabinet, I was happy with the sturdiness and the look. A couple pieces of advice - do not use the screw driver they send, it will be much easier with a ratchet type as some of the screws take some strength, especially when putting on the castors. Secondly, the 2 rods for holding the hanging files - do not screw these in too tight as they will start to pop through the front of the door. Overall, very happy and it is exactly as shown on line.

It is small enough to put in a living room corner without it being too noticeable, but big enough to store all the household files and important documents, and have a printer on top.

easy enough to assemble, looks really good. I would recommend if you're looking for something for your home office, also doubles as a night stand.

I purchased this file cabinet for next to my desk, The printer/ scanner/ fax fits on top nicely. The bottom drawer holds files and the top drawer holds paper/ misc items. Key locks both drawers if there are important things inside. It rolls smoothly out of the way if you need it to. There are locks on the casters to keep it in place.

Good, solid cabinet. A little difficult to put together especially the locking mechanism. Like the lock and the wheels are sturdy. Looks well put together and not cheap. Overall and good cabinet for students.

it took several hours to assemble the lock mechanism which is not standart. Other than that is was average Assembly for all but lock three hours. Lock mechanism 4 hours.. will not order any thing from this manufacturer Again.
