Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my dad. When it came in I was impressed with how heavy duty it was. The light is nice and bright. My only disappointment with the pen is its not initially clear how to remove the cap for the pen. It appears to be a twist action, but all that did was make the pen fall apart. I was ready to send it back, but my husband figured it out. My dad loved it. He shared it with all his coworkers. However, he too didn't realize there was a pen until I spoke with him in the evening on the phone. He then had a difficult time figuring out how to get to it. Aside from "finding" the pen, a really nice solid product.

Great tool, very versatile. Very functional tool. Handy pen with flash light. Solid construction that can be used for self defence as a last ditch weapon. Bought several for my wife and relatives.

This pen is honestly one of the best purchases I have ever made. The thing was damn hard to figure out as I stupidly disassembled it (The cap is very well blended with the body). I wrote a negative review of it, but I was quickly and amazing contacted by their customer service department, which I was floored by their service and prompt reply. Thanks Defender, I hope this little guy lasts til the end of time, or at least mine! ;)
