This is better than anythg I cd have come up with on my own. I do that a lot to save money. The cooling stand lets the air circulate so it won't get hot and the price is really low. It saved my inventing a crude substitute. This works better & looks very professional. A great buy!

No motor to deal with simply place laptop on it an place on your lap and it helps keep the heat off yor lap.

Ok, so I fully admit I overlooked the dimentions and the material make of this item.....so check those out first to be sure this is what your really wanting for a lap pad.Based on other reviews, I took a chance, mainly due to low price, and I ordered this cooling stand for the primary intentions of using on my lap. I own a 17" laptop and was aware this pad would be on the smaller size, however, I believe it would be too small for a 15".As noted, the material is foam, which for the sake of weight and keeping the laptop cool, this works well. But for the sake of durability over time and use in your lap, I doubt it. I promptly returned the item the following day after receipt.I do not recommend for durability strength or the size for primary use as a lap pad. As a desktop pad, I'm sure this would be fine, as you wont be constantly moving it.I gave 3 stars to be fair, as I did overlook the dimentions and material upon ordering and cant really penalize the product for my oversight. 3 stars represents an "average" rating for this product.

The cool lift does what it is supposed to - let the hot air escape from under the protable computer. While sturdy, it could be a litle larger for a 17 inch laptop

This product was NOT worth it, all it does is slant the laptop, small laptops, it feels like its made of cardboard. Awful, do NOT buy or use this item.

good product for the price I paid. It is fexible but I am not sure how durable yet. If you have a dog that likes to chew things it would be gone in 5 minutes but for basic use it is great. I take it to and from work in my laptop bag and it fits nice and easy.

I found this product to be too small for a conventional laptop....would probably be great for one of those new mini-netbook type laptops..a conventional laptop hangs out over the sides....this might work if they made it larger all around....maybe even an inch on all 4 sides

This is the best thing I've done for my laptop! My 15-inch computer fits quite well. I have not heard the sound of my computer's fan since I placed it on this device. Also, the keyboard is at a much better angle. Overall I'd have to say that this is probably the best investment I have ever made!

This Laptop Computer Cooling Stand is great. It lifts the PC just enoufh so the heat can circulate underneath the PC. For the price, it is an excellent buy. I would recommend it for anyone with a PC that gets hot underneath.

This cool little gadget bumps my laptop up off the counter and lets air circulate around the bottom of it....It's exactly what I wanted at a price you just can't beat.....I have it on my kitchen counter and it does not slip around or leave a mark. It's a groovy cool deal all around!! Glad I made this purchase !!

The Cool Lift Laptop Computer Cooling Stand is great under the laptop. It is comfortable on my lap and keeps the laptop at a comfortable temp. It is not bulky or so huge, so it does not encompass my whole lap. Great to have when on the go, takes up little room in my laptop case, I just put it in and put the laptop on top, strap it in and go. No bothersome plugs to deal with either.

When I bought it, I couldn't tell how big it was. I wanted something to put on my lap and hold the laptop. But it's small... not even the size of my laptop. And it's not tacky, so the laptop slides toward you and you have to constantly push it up. I tried setting it on a flat board, and putting the laptop on it, so the board would be wider across my thighs, but it slips on the board if it's not flat, and of course the laptop slips off the stand. So it's nearly worthless. I would have returned it, but then I'd have to pay shipping. Don't waste your money on this one!

I love what this does for the price. I have a bigger laptop and it does work fine with it but would be nice if maybe a larger size was offered but mine still works great with this. i am very plased with this purchase.

I purchased one and received it a couple of days later. The product was very nice and worked perfectly, for my use. I ordered two more for my sisters computers and received it in a couple of days (great service). I will continue to order from overstock.com in the future. Keep up your good work.

Simple in design, which is to hold a lap top on an angle for easier key board access. It's a must have.
