The desk is a large surface great for a computer and associated peripherals plus ample room for writing or opening text books while using the computer. The desk drawers are quite large and the under-desk/above drawer shelf is stellar. The most difficult part of assembly was dealing with all the Styrofoam. The container weighs around 200 pounds so be prepared to move it around before assembly. Well worth the price and the anthracite top finish with wood undersides is great.

I ordered this because I don’t have a lot of room, and needed a desk to be able to go on my laptop and work. I needed room to be able to place some documents beside the desk while typing. This desk is just absolutely PERFECT! I absolutely LOVE IT! It is nice to look at, and not in the least bit unattractive looking. The wood on the top is a nice color, and it is extremely “smooth” to both look at and touch. The silver keyboard area and the bottom provide a great storage area for me, since I am using my laptop and not a desk top. Also, I can eat while surfing the web because there is more than enough room enough for a plate to sit in front of the computer, while my wireless mouse is on the right hand side. I also like that it has wheels and is portable because I can move it around easily if I would ever need to. I would very highly recommend this desk to anyone who needs a desk for a small space, or even a large space! The price is another thing that I really liked about this desk. The price can’t be beat. The desk looks like it costs more than it did. Great product.

I needed a sturdy yet inexpensive computer table for a small corner area of our living room. I really dislike assembling furniture at home. It is often a complicated process which results in a table or shelves that are unstable and not worth the low prices. Wood/faux wood pieces are the worst which all tend to pull apart. This is the one reason I choose metal tubing/bars for assemble yourself furniture. I was not disappointed...this is a sturdy computer table. It assembled fairly easy. The keyboard drawer/tray was the most complicated but ended up coming together ok after some fiddling. The shelf under the table holds the computer, with just a little overhang, and there is room for the little printer. Everything is off the floor now and looking good!It is a very nice and pretty sturdy computer desk. My teenage son likes it very much.

I had bought another computer cart for $99 that was wood so it would match my office and home decor. I like to move my work PC to different parts of my house since I work out of my home. After two weeks, the top portion toppled over from the weight of my flat screen monitor (about 8-10 #'s). I decided to try this one. I was about to order it from xxxx for about $230.00 and then decided to see if I could find more reviews when I found it here on Overstock.com for so much less. It was delivered much qucker than expected. The directions were very easy to follow. My son and I had it put together in about 35 minutes. The cart is height adjustable but only by removing the nuts/bolt, adjusting and replacing the nuts and bolts again. I found however that for where I wanted the height there were no pre-drilled holes. However, the cart is so very sturdy and well made that it stays in place without the nuts and bolts. I am very, very pleased with this cart. I chose not to install the side loop since I use a laptop, but I have room for everything I need - monitor, laptop, MFC printer, wireless mouse and keyboard and speakers . The quality of this cart is fantastic - it takes weight and balance into account. very well - a very stable product even when I am moving it from room to room. I wish they had put a compartment to place a surge protector, but I was able to strap one onto the back of one of the braces. I hightly recommend this cart. I usually don't speak so well of any product but I am very impressed with this one.

This product had the perfect look and dimensions for my daughters bedroom when I saw the picture. The reality, though, this is a poor quality product, I am not complaining because I paid for what I got, but be warned. It took my husband more than eight hour to assemble it, and he is very good at assembling things. Some "wooden" (veneer) parts were chipped, so the desk looks like is it had been used. I am not returning it, because I do not want to go through the hassle of taking it apart and shipping it back. The design is a great idea, but this product is made from poor quality materials.

This was a gift for my parents. They needed a more compact desk than used to save space. This desk was offered at a low price (about $70). It is sturdy and attractive. The "wood" elements appear like wood and are actually very nice. I spent a lot of time researching desks before making this purchase. At this price point, this is probably the best value you will get.

This computer table was exactly what we were searching for. The wheels make the table easy to move from room to room. The cherry finish blends nicely with our wood furniture.

I bought this piece for my daughter's bedroom. The quality is much better than I expected compared to previously purchased "self-assembled" furniture products. The unit is very sturdy, has a beautiful smooth lacquer-like finish on the wood-textured composite pieces and the chromed metal legs are a nice touch. It was relatively easy to assemble. I would definitely buy again.

I should have known by the price that this desk would be constructed of poor quality material. That being said, this desk arrived in a box that looked like it went through a war zone to get to me, even good quality wood would have had a hard time escaping damage. Several pieces where damaged. Would like to return but Overstock will not let me, only going to send replacement parts. We will see!!! I will be very hesitant to ever order from Overstock again.

What a great buy! I am always worrisome to order products that I must assemble myself as they are always missing parts or the holes seemed to be drilled in the wrong places - rest assured, this product was a breeze to assemble! The product is made of high quality wood, metal and fasteners and was easy to assemble! It looks great and more expensive than what I paid on Overstock! I would recommend to others!

Took way too long to drop ship from manufacturer in Texas. This is 2013. They should really have an east coast warehouse as it would shorten the delivery time and may reduce damage in shipping the great distance. The first unit was damaged in shipping breaking the corner of the table top rendering it unusable. This I attribute to inadequate packing to protect the most delicate and vulnerable component in the box the table top and it's corners. The replacement unit also took too long to be delivered especially under the circumstances, however, it was not broken. I like the table and hope it holds up under normal usage in it's permanent location. It could have been priced lower to make it a better value as it is a man-made table top and not real wood. They should offer an optional real wood table top model.

The computer cart was fairly easy to put together, yet some of the screws did not screw in all the way. (As a result my keyboard tray does not push in and out of the way.) Overall, the cart is fairly sturdy, takes up minimal space, yet accommodates all of the necessary hardware: CPU, printer, screen, keyboard and mouse, all on different levels. The cherry wood look blends into the decor. Also, the cart rolls easily.

I take temp assignments around the country, so I end up living in small condos with a huge variety of accomodations. I needed this table, possibly to leave it when I go. (okay price for 4 mos. use) I'm a woman, mechanically adept, so assembly was a breeze, especially since there was even a small allen wrench provided. I like the "wood" look- didnt go for the black. It holds my small box pc, slim printer, and a flat screen is a must. It could be considered wobbly, but only when I get lazy and lean all over my keyboard. This is great if you only need a little work station- not designed to create an office around this item.

Compact functional, and easy to put together, this computer cart does convert from standing to sitting and back again but not that easily. With computer equipment on the cart, the heavy wood becomes even heavier to hold into position while you unscrew the final screws and then try to carefully adjust as to not jostle or drop your equipment. The screws must be tight to prevent the top portion from wobbling and if they are tight then readjusting the position is even more of a hassle. In the seated position, the keyboard tray is a little high for my administrative staff. I do enjoy being able to stand and compute.

The product feels like cheap plastic and the inside of the drawers has a faux wood looking paper coating which rips off when you peel off the labels that guide the assembly. I have purchased these types of items from other companies and found that the materials and construction are better than this product- ie. the inside of the drawers on the other desks I've constructed are not made of paper, they are the same melamine coating as the outside of the drawer. Also, the drawer mechanism feels wobbly and the screws for securing the ends of the drawers do not lock as well as the other ones I've put together. I liked the look of the desk online as it matched the existing style of furniture for a child's bedroom but the product is not one I would have purchased had I seen it before ordering it. I'll be surprised if this desk lasts a year.

Very nice desk, professional looking for the price.
