Ink Cart works outta box-but no usage chip
O Chat line said the ink cart had a Ink usage chip inside, but it did not have one like the Original Canon has. This creates a printer status of saying the ink is all gone, but it is not because it is new. The Cart does work fine right out of the box, you just need to ignore the printer status error. Also, description on this say it will print 220 pgs but that is meaningless without knowing how much ink per page. Should state how much ink is in the cart (i.e. 9ml or ?). Finally, this is a really generic ink cart. received product does not even say a name of the maker, therefore I would guess it is one of the ones made from the Ink Refill Kits. It does seem to work fine though (at least initially). Stay tuned...
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. This black Ink works great right out of the box
- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? No Ink Usage Chip to show amount of ink used - Printer shows a "out of ink" status.
