I contacted customer service before I placed my order to verify that I would be getting a genuine Canon toner cartridge. I received a Canon-compatible cartridge. This product was misrepresented. I was in need of toner, so I installed it but have not made many copies so I have no idea how long it will last. I would not have ordered this item if I had known it was not a genuine Canon cartridge.

This cartridge was 1/2 the price and works as well as the ones the manufacture recommends. Will buy these again.
