Not only 'would I recommend this chair to a friend', but I have and they ordered them. It so happens my elbows resting on the arms of the chair are just right for my hands over the keyboard for touch typing-as I am doing now. This is one solid and handsome piece of furniture that looks so good as well as being so comfortable-like a favorite pair of well made loafers. The assembly is a one two three snap. The only really incredible thing is the low price for such quality. You will Never regret buying one...I'm going to order more. Incidentally, I installed some 'gold' colored 'ball rollers' for the legs, and that makes it perfect, then, for sitting at the computer, or at a dining table.

the chairs are comfortable and sturdy but the vinyl looks like vinyl. the color is not as deep as the picture, much more red/purple in life. fine to use but i hate looking at it.

These were a good addition to our reception area. We had price-shopped chairs of this type and the range was usually between $150-250, so the price was VERY nice! My only qualm is that the seats are quite firm and the material very slick which makes them easy to slide out of, and I have had a few remarks from the older ladies about backs, hips, etc. for that reason. Otherwise, we are highly satisfied with this purchase for the price

I have mobility problems and I must use a chair with arms in order to be able to stand. This chair looked perfect for my needs. I initially ordered four chairs for my office from Overstock. There was minor damage to one of the chairs that appeared to have been caused during packaging and not during shipment. Overstock rectified the issue upon my request, and I ordered another four chairs. The chairs look professional, and they are comfortable. I wasn't sure what to expect based upon the relatively low cost, but I was pleasantly surprised. I was very happy with the service that Overstock provided. I would highly recommend the chairs and Overstock.

The chair looked great in the picture and it wasn't too hard to put together. Once it was assembled I was pleased with the look of the final product but I was a little disappointed by how low it was. If you're short (I'm not) or you have a need for a low chair this is perfect. If you are looking for a standard sized chair then you might be disappointed. All that said I use the chair regularly and it is pretty comfortable, I would recommend this chair as long as the buyer understood what they were buying.

The chair is excellent. I looked at different reviews on overstock to purchase chairs for my business. Once I saw the feedback, I had to buy the chair. I bought 3 chairs and it is a high quality chair. When I had people sit in these chairs, they were excited and thought that the chair is so comfortable. I purchased two of these attractive chairs for my home office and couldn't be more pleased. So much so, that I'm planning on purchasing another. They look very rich in burgandy with cherry wood stain, and are sturdy and comfortable for office side chairs. Assembly instructions weren't the best although it wasn't very hard to figure out and assemble.
