The chair color is off white(which is what I wanted) not pure white as shown. It was fairly easy to assemble despite not having instructions included. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase!

I ordered this chair to go with a new built-in desk in my home. The desk was white, so I thought the chair would be perfect. It arrived very quickly, but when I opened the package, I got a suprise: The while chair I ordered was actually a beige color-not at all what the chair looked like in the picture/ description. Other than the color, the chair looked nice, but its pretty much "what you pay, is what you get,"- nothing special or really high quality. I only give it 2 stars becuase of the color discrepancy. The description of the color is very misleeding. That said, if you're looking for a lovely, affordable beige colored chair, this might be just what your looking for.

I really like this chair now that it is together and functioning, but the pneumatic assembly that makes it go up and down was not put together properly when it shipped. Luckily, my husband was able to take it apart and fix it. Overall, it took me about 40 minutes to put it together by myself, then another hour or so for him to make it work right. Also, be aware that the color is cream, not white. It is really solid feeling and seems to be constructed well, but it did arrive with a chip out of one arm despite a ton of protective foam and bubble wrap. Overall, it seems like a great value for the price.

I love this chair. It looks great and is very comfortable. It was hard to assemble and I was surprised at the high quality of it. It was also half the usual price for a chair like this! I would definitely recommend this product.

I really like the chair. I am older and female. The assembly directions where not easy for me. In fact, I need to take it apart and try again. I think this is a personnal handicap thing. For anyone else it might be a piece of cake to put together.

We LOVE this chair!!!!! It came well packaged with all the parts in good order. The instructions were easy to follow. We are using this in a home office and plan to order a 2nd one.

I am very pleased with this desk chair. Even though I am a woman in my late fifities I assembled this chair by myself late one night without any trouble. The chair is attractive and comfortable also. Finding a desk chair in white to go with my white desk was a task well done.

I ordered two of these chairs to complete my desk system that I purchased from the upscale catalog company. They go together great with the system, for half the price. However, I only rated them 4 stars because the color is not white, it's a creamy off white. For me it's fine, and I'm happy to keep them. Much nicer than the ugly ones from the office stores. Shipping was in 2 days, and assembly was easy for me (my husband did it for me, hee, hee!)

The chair was shipped quickly, although there were no instructions included. We checked the manufacturer's website and we couldn't find any specific to this chair. We managed to assemble it without the directions, but it was challenging.I will say that it was packed compactly with cardboard and bubble wrap -- no Styrofoam, which I was happy to see -- and I was able to recycle most of it.The chair itself looks good (it is cream, not white, which I didn't mind), functional and sturdy, the back tilts (manually), although the up and down mechanism is finicky. Overall, it was a good deal.

Overall, the chairs are very nice for the money. The only complaint is that the cottage white is basically almost a light yellow versus an off white or ivory. Think more of a heavy cream color. The picture display is a much whiter color.

I bough this chair on Cyber monday and it was a great buy! it arrived four days later and it was in great conditions, it took my a about 30 min to put it together and it looks great. I had to use a seat cushion for maximun comfort! I would recommend this chair to anyone.

This chair is very good looking. Its heavy and of a high quality. looks like it should be in a rich person's Hampton's home. Although the chair came with 3 broken wheels, Overstock sent replacement parts very quickly and the chair was ready to go in no time. I recommend to anyone that is thinking of buying this chair !!!

This is a super office/desk chair! The price is a great value; I have used far more expensive chairs of much poorer quality. I assembled it in less than 30 minutes. The chair is beautiful and comfortable--if you are considering it for yourself, I truly recommend it!

This chair is so easy to assemble. It's not like a lot of chairs I have put together. Easy to follow directions. And it looks so nice with my off-white desk. It is so much air-ier and lady-like than the leather and fabric clad office chairs. I have not been disappointed with anything I've ordered from Overstock!

As I sit in my newly assembled chair, I am quite pleased with my purchase. I was "this" close to purchasing a like item at Name Brand Store for much much more. This is a solid chair and very attractive for my home office. At first I could not figure out how to raise or lower the chair, but is seems to have a locking positiion and I was also not pulling hard enough on the lever. I plan to purchase a seat cushion for added comfort and extra style. I really like the cottage white color as opposed to a bright white.This is my first order from Overstock and it was very positive. Best of all, I didn't need to ask hubby for help in assembling the chair. Clear instructions and everything you need is in the box.

We are very happy with this solid chair. It was a little hard for my husband to get the seatback screws to fit in the right place to assemble it, but he assembles a lot of things and managed to make it work.

This chair is exactly what I was looking for to match our daughter's student desk and I love that is was so easy to assemble, very well made, the off white color is perfect and the best part is that it cost 3 times less than what I saw pictured at competitors.
