The chair is of excellent quality and the leather is very soft, comfortable to sit in, but I would prefer it if it would recline. I think it's built this way to be ergonomically correct, and it feels nice on your back, but human nature forces you to want to recline and relax, and that won't happen in this chair. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

So glad I bought this! It only took about 20 minutes to empty the box and put the parts together. The high back is perfect for my 6ft husband and the sturdy base makes using the tilt back mechanism safe. The cushioning is more than ample (even on the arms) making it the most comfortable desk chair we've had. It's also easily adjustable for height, which is important when different family members are using the same chair.

I read the other reviews on this chair - 5 stars, "the chair I was looking for, etc." and ordered one based on those reviews. First, the holes for the screws did not line up easily. It took two people to push the parts together & screw them in. Second, after the chair was assembled, I was really disappointed in the poor recline. It reclines, but only a few inches, making it impossible to lean back & put your feet up. If you spend a lot of time in a chair behind a desk, it's nice to be able to do that. This chair doesn't allow that. Long story short, it was off to ***** to purchase a replacement. It's too much trouble to take it apart & try to send it back, so I'll probably Goodwill it.

It's a pleasure to sit and work at my computer in this chair. The faux leather is soft and supple. Feels much more expensive than the price. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the tilt adjustment is still a little stiff at its lowest setting.
