I was hoping it would be a soft on top so the mouse would slide smoothly over and it was just what I was hoping for, because I really needed a new one! My old mouse pad would make the mouse pointer jump from place to place and I could not steady it, but this one is perfect!

This was a great item!! We gave them as gifts to our employees and everyone really liked them. Well worth the price :)
