I really like this desk, perfect for me. I am 4'11" and wanted a desk that i could adjust to my height needs. My guess is that it would be good for a child too. Mobility of desk is good with the caster wheels they also have breaks on the front casters. Nice storage for the wires; you can thread through the back pole and/or use the clips they provide. Instructions are clear and easy to read. All parts are labeled with appropriate numbers that match the instructions. I put together on my own with no problems. My only issue is that once the monitor is installed on the pole it is slightly close to where you sit. I can also use it as a stand up desk. Taller individuals would probably only use it as a sitting desk; it has a very large amount of adjustability. The adjustment can be done very easily, just flip the lever up, adjust to height and flip back down. The lever is on the keyboard tray and the monitor attachment. All in all I'm really happy with it.
- How accurate was the sizing? very
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Sturdy, solid and worth the price. The tray isn't real wood but for the price it is still a nice desk.
- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? one wheel/caster was chipped but didn't effect the product in any way. Just a small corner of the plastic.
Bottom Line: For people who need a lightweight, portable, very adjustable workstation that is constructed well, looks great, and is ergonomic. Adjustable Monitor: height, left-to-right swivel, tilt Adjustable Shelf: height, left-to-right swivel More Info: I needed a lightweight, ergonomic, flexible solution for my PC desk and didn't want to spend a thousand dollars on the well-known ergonomic brands. This desk fit the bill. For the price, it's a wonderful bang for the buck. All parts fit together snug. Everything is labeled correctly. Directions are clear. Everything feels solid and sturdy. Includes cord management clips and locking casters. Assembly is easy. I recommend using a 13mm socket wrench for tightening the monitor tilt nut rather than the included wrench. Much easier. I have an ergonomic keyboard and my mouse doesn't fit on the shelf, which is fine, because I have a separate, small table at the same height for my mouse. I can rotate my 23" monitor and the desk for film and video viewing with other people. The shelf top looks classy as does the whole unit. This would work well in an office or at home. Very nice welding and coating. No bumpy, cheaply welded joints. It is a small footprint and if you want your arms at an ergonomic 90-degree angle along with the ergonomic eyesight level for a 23" monitor, you will need a small, adjustable seat about 12 - 14" in height depending on your keyboard height. Also, go to the manufacturer's site and look up the desk. There are a lot of HD photos and a brochure explaining all the features of this desk.
