Fellow Shoppers, this Tactical pen conceals the writing part under the blunt end. To find the writing tool, gently grasp the "upper" part ( around the clip ) with one hand, and with your other hand, grasp the "lower" part ( around the pointy metal tip ) - and gently pull apart to find the concealed pen. I don't understand some of the reviews about this pen. It does not have a cheap feel. It's nice and hefty and sturdy enough to be a real tactical pen. It is easy to open the point; you just twist the bottom half of the pen and the point lowers for writing.

Sensa is well known for its premium Japan made pens. I have been using this brand for years. Pay special attention to the color of the pen. The silver (pearl) ones are usually the least expensive. You can save a lot of money if you don't mind silver (pearl).
