This little tool was just what I needed. I'm just surprised you can't get such a thing at about a quarter of the price! It does the job -- just a tad on the costly side.

Very nice product, just as described. Has an adjustable depth gage to let you adjust the placement of the punched hole. Easy to use, not hard to squeeze.

This slot punch is very easy to use. I had learned how to make a holder for a candy bar in a craft class and needed to cut a slot to tie a ribbon through. This punch cost more than some other types, but I'm glad I bought it because it is so easy to use. The other punches were either too small for a 3/8" ribbon or required a hard surface to punch against. With this, I could just punch without needing a hard surface.
