Not only 'would I recommend this chair to a friend', but I have and they ordered them. It so happens my elbows resting on the arms of the chair are just right for my hands over the keyboard for touch typing-as I am doing now. This is one solid and handsome piece of furniture that looks so good as well as being so comfortable-like a favorite pair of well made loafers. The assembly is a one two three snap. The only really incredible thing is the low price for such quality. You will Never regret buying one...I'm going to order more. Incidentally, I installed some 'gold' colored 'ball rollers' for the legs, and that makes it perfect, then, for sitting at the computer, or at a dining table.

I bought two of these chairs for my study. Easy to put together according to my husband. They look very nice, comfortable to sit in. The purpose of these chairs are for when we are showing someone something on the computer in the study then they will have a place to sit down instead of sitting on our desk or hunching over our shoulders. the chairs are comfortable and sturdy but the vinyl looks like vinyl. the color is not as deep as the picture, much more red/purple in life. fine to use but i hate looking at it.

We are pleased with these chairs. The quality is good and they assembled easily. Everything was clearly marked. The chairs are comfortable and attractive and compliment the simple, traditional we are using. These are a very good value as well as being affordable.

I thought the shipping was super fast and the item arrive in great shape. Once put together, this is a really nice chair, especially for the price - and it both looks good at my desk and feels comfortable (good support for my back; I'm 6'3"). My main complaint is that it came with _no_ instructions, and I looked everywhere for them. All the pieces arrived, but without instructions, I had to guess how to put it together, or search online for proper assembly. This gave me some grief, and took me more time than was necessary. However, with the proper know-ho, it could be assembled in a matter of minutes...still, the three slots for screws under the front of the chair seemed a little off. I still 'made' it fit ;o) Overall, it's a great chair for a great price, but I am not sure I'll be making too many do-it-yourself purchases from anyone in the near future.

These were a good addition to our reception area. We had price-shopped chairs of this type and the range was usually between $150-250, so the price was VERY nice! My only qualm is that the seats are quite firm and the material very slick which makes them easy to slide out of, and I have had a few remarks from the older ladies about backs, hips, etc. for that reason. Otherwise, we are highly satisfied with this purchase for the price

Ordered 25 chairs for our offices for guest to sit in. These are a great size to not overpower an office, they look great, and the price is right. I have mobility problems and I must use a chair with arms in order to be able to stand. This chair looked perfect for my needs.
