Attractive scale The scale is a very nice design and looks great - sleek and not obtrusive in most any bathroom décor. Nice, well-lighted display, which disappears after you've used the scale, and then it's just a solid-color, thin platform. It weighs well, and is accurate. After I bought it, it occurred to me that I wasn't thinking about batteries, which I don't like to deal with, and this needs batteries. However, I would imagine that they'll last quite a long time, and they're just common double A-s, which are usually in the household, or not hard to pick up most anywhere. The price is right, and there were much less nice looking scales for the same price at the local discount super store.

I'm looking for a basic scale w/no special features. Do you have to "tap" this on or can you simply step on it and have your weight measured? I also do not need to know my previous weight, just what I weigh right now. Is that an issue?

When I went to use my new scale, it showed my weight in Kgs (instead of pounds). I couldn't figure out how to change it so that it will weigh in pounds. Do you have some kind of an instruction manual which will show me how to correct this?

Hello donashrt, To change the unit of measure. First step is Press the unit key on the bottom of the scale to change the scales displayed unit of measure.
