I was warned. I read reviews mentioning the poor quality of the board but ordered it anyway as a Christmas gift. I did not open the box, but wrapped it up and found on Christmas day that there were noticeable and significant scratches to the board. My daughter felt it would still be workable for her studies but has not tried it yet. Sorry Overstock. You've lost a customer.

• How accurate was the sizing? Exact size wasn't important. My daughter needed something to help her study chemistry.

I got this markerboard for school artwork. My refrigerator was always covered with kindergarten & 1st grade artwork that would tend to fall off or get caught in the door. I also needed something to hide an ugly door to my furnace located in the kitchen. This board has worked great! I hung it sideways on the furnace door. The measurements in the description where exact, so it's a perfect fit. I now have a place to display all the artwork & hide that ugly furnace door. Shipping was super fast ( as always ).
