for what i paid this is a pretty comfortable chair. the only issue i have is when the chair's tilt lock is engaged there is still about three inches of play in the back of the chair.

The chair arrived on time, the directions for assembly were clear and the chair went together with little problem. The controls are solid and the chair was easily adjusted for my workstation. I am still working on getting the adjustments tweaked to make it comfortable for long-term work. I find that if I sit too long on a project, my legs begin to cramp up. The cushion on the seat is contoured by not really comfortable for a long period of time. Maybe that's good, as I should be taking breaks often to avoid tunnel carpel. I would not buy this chair or any chair again without testing it first. I read all the reviews and thought it worth the risk, but now realize it's a very personal choice, and like buying a car, you need to test-drive it first.

Office Star has many similar looking chairs here on Overstock, and I picked this one based on the other reviews. I have to say I'm a little spoiled because at work during the dot com days we had Herman Miller Aeron Chairs everywhere, and if you've ever sat in one of those you know they are THE ULTIMATE office chair in terms of comfort, adjustability, etc. At home, I don't have that kind of budget, but guess what? This works. It's not perfect, but it's relatively comfortable, with mesh so it's breathable, and affordable compared to most alternatives.

mesh back design is leaps and bounds ahead of leather/fabric. if u prefer to STAY professional lookin, without a sweaty back, then this is the chair. everytime u lean back into the mesh back, u'll feel a cool "breeze" of air hittin yur back. u will never know the difference between a good quality mesh back chair and a regular leather/fabric chair. until u really try one. i like everything about the chair. from the materials used to the fit and feel of it. my only complain was some of the screws didn't line up too well. i had to use a bit of muscle to get 3 screws in. very minor defect that is pretty common with un-assembled furniture. all in all i would buy again without a doubt.

My husband and I were creating a home office and purchased 2 of these chairs for that purpose. We both use the chairs 5 days a week, 8 hours each day. They are truly comfortable chairs and a great deal. They were easy to put together and very comfy. We're very pleased with the purchase.

Happy with the purchase. Small paint defect on leg does not affect function or looks. Mesh back is comfortable (soft and breathable).

Nice chair, but a bear to assemble. Everything was easy until I got to the part where I had to attach the back to the seat with the three "short screws" and washers. The holes in the back where the short screws were supposed to fit were too small. After spending about an hour fighting with them, I gave up and called the company. After a very short wait I got a rep who said they would send another hardware package. I again asked if the short screws would be smaller in diameter and she said she'd make a note of it. I didn't quite believe I'd get the right screws from the company so off to the hardware store I went. I found the smaller screws and also bought nuts just in case I needed them. Good thing I'm just that psychic because I did. Then the fun began. It was nearly impossible to hold the nuts in place to put the screws through them in the small area that barely accommodated my fingers much less a wrench. I donned heavy rubber gloves to get a better grip of the nut (it was underneath and inside an area that I could barely get my fingers through) to hold it in place and tightened the screw as much as I could. They are not as tight as they could be, but the chair seems to be holding up OK. All together it took me about 3 hours, including the 10-minute rip to the hardware store, to assemble. While I would recommend this chair, just be prepared for a few assembly challenges. It really is a nice chair. It's very comfortable with good back support. It also gets warm in my office so the mesh back and seat are much more comfortable than my other high-backed, fully upholstered office chair. This chair is small, yet has an adequate seat for my long legs, with just enough slightly-firm foam padding for comfort.

Very cushy, attractive and sturdy seating for those long hours in front of a computer. A bit large for a task chair, but perfect when arms are not installed. I can't get my family off of mine!

We thought the product was great! It looks very nice in my son's room and has a great quality. The product was shipped fast and in a big box. There was some assembly required but all products were provided. I put the chair together myself and it was very easy and took little time. This is my first non-leather office chair. It is very comfortable and the back support is excellent. Assembly was a breeze. I work from home so I spend a lot of time in this chair and so far have no complaints. If you're looking for a good chair at a good price, this is it. I just hope the arm rests stand the weight i put on them when adjusting my position in the chair.

I bought two of these chairs for my in home office. I assembled both chairs with no problems at all. It took me about 15 minutes to put the first chair together with my wife's help. But the second chair I assembled by myself and it took less then 10 minutes to assemble because I knew where all of the pieces belonged. Both my wife and I are very pleased with the comfort and the look of the chairs. We looked at other chairs in local furniture and office stores, but none compare to these chairs. They are a great deal for the price.
