I bought this chair for my drafting table. I read reviews about how it is inherently high, and doesn't drop very low. I am 6'1" and didn't think this was a problem. Well it kind of was. I have the chair on the lowest setting, and my table on the highest setting, and it barely (but does) works. So if you are questioning if a chair will fit under a table STRONGLY reconsider this chair, and measure your clearance on your table. I actually removed the rollers on the bottom of the chair and it is sitting on just the 5 prong base. So I can't roll, but at least my knees fit under my table (which, again, is maxed out height wise). Chair looks great, comfortable. You get what you pay for.Greg
I bought this chair after reading other reviews and after looking for a cushioned swivel chair that would work well with my counter-height desk. This chair arrived in less than a week and was very easy to assemble. I have been enjoying it for days and am able to work for hours on end without my legs going to sleep (as was the problem with my other chair.) The swivel feature is great and this chair actually comes with casters OR stationary feet. I chose to attach the stationary feet since I use the chair on carpet and do not necessarily need it to roll - especially since it swivels so well. Great chair and an even better price.
Having done a fair amount of reasearch, I feel competent to say that this chair is the best for the money. It's sturdy, comfortable, well and attractively designed. The delivery was quick (and cheap!), and while I don't like assembling furniture, this was, figuratively, a snap to put together. I use it daily for hours at a time and my neck, back and legs feel fine. The heighth is perfect. My only wish would be for a brake on the swivel feature, but for me, that wasn't a deal-breaker.
The chair was purchased for my mom's kitchen, I love how high it can go and it was very easy to assemble. I would recomment this to anyone needing a good high chair for work or home
