Maitland Crimson Accent I & II Stretched Canvas Art Set

As an abstract artist, I liked the colors of these pieces and didn't want to try to duplicate. When I received them, I was a little disappointed as it looked as though they printed out the artwork and sealed them on the front of the one inch thick canvas. The sides of the canvas are white instead of carrying the color over. I guess I should have painted them myself since I'm pretty particular.

This product was average at best. The colors were not as rich as they appeared to be online, and the color didn't extend beyond the front of the print... the edges are white.

I ordered these some time ago and they are most impressive. Good saturation of color. Very vibrant. Everyone who has seen them asked where I got them.

I received the canvas prints quickly, however, i regret having paid what I did for the poor quality and workmanship of this item. The colors are very pretty and do accent the expensive paintings I already own (which i paid thousands for). But the print does not go to the edge of the canvas. Up close you can see the outer white edge where the print should be. Also there are areas to the sides of the painting that dont even have paint on them... you can see the tan canvas itself! From reading others reviews I got the impression that the painting was textured well and its def not. I do buy alot of items from overstock, but this was a bit of a disappointment. I would have sent it back if it didnt cost so much plus the restocking fee. If you are a true art enthusiast... beware.
