One year old this week

nickiii from Chicago, IL, Aug 21, 2009

Adore this chair. Extremely comfortable for hours on end. Use it full-time, 4 or 5 days per week. Great if you sit a lot or if you have a touch of arthritis. Generous size. Had it a year now, and not a single complaint. This is my first all-five star review. Just love the chair!

Perfect chair for the home office

tweakie from Vancouver, Canada, Feb 5, 2010

Here's what I learned in my search for the perfect chair: do not buy an "executive chair" if you do computer work; get a "task chair" like this one instead. I've tried both types and had to refund a Costco leather exec chair because it strains my back and traps heat. I find mesh chairs to be the best for the heavy computer user. I decided to get a mesh chair for my home after realizing I could sit in them for HOURS in front of a computer without feeling physically stressed. Surprise! This chair relieves stress just as well as the one in my office for a quarter of the price. The build quality on this chair is excellent (Made in Taiwan, not China). The first thing I noticed after assembly is the thickness of the seat padding. With a whopping 9cm of padding, this is more than 3 times as thick as any other chairs in my home. This chair is also a heavyweight -- it feels as heavy and sturdy as the $1000 mesh chairs at my office. Contrary to the negative reviews here, the back adjustment WORKS and does NOT slide down to the lowest setting. The chair makers must have listened to the reviews because the width of the adjustment slot was narrowed, holding the back piece firmly in place thus preventing it from sliding down to the lowest setting. However, the downside is that it requires some brute force strength during assembly to push the metal piece into the plastic piece (step 2). I actually had to file down the plastic slightly to fit the metal piece in. All in all, this chair sets a new standard for the home office task chair. I highly recommend it.

Sturdy and confortable

flynnom from San Francisco CA, Feb 3, 2010

Very good chair for the money. Adjustable arms are a must for an erg chair. it was easy to assemble -- okay I made my son do it but it was done under an hour which means it was easy. I have a more expensive erg chair in my office but I wanted this one for home. I like this one better. Like the mesh. Everything is good quality.

Great deal

It's a lot of chair for the money. Comfortable, lots of adjustments. Seat cushioning could be firmer.

COMFY CHAIR

lamaria87 from Houston, TX, Jan 27, 2010

CONS: Poor instructions. I haven't been able to use the tilt, can't figure out how to use that level. Thought chair was broken when I couldn't adjust the seat. I am 5' 2" and weigh 105lbs so I tried and tried and could not move the seat. I had someone heavier adjust it for me and it worked (!). Back part of chair is hard to fit in the slot, after some frustration I read another buyer's comment and read you had to use some force to make it go in. ............................................................................................................ PROS: The battle putting it together is really worth it!!! It is very comfortable and the adjustments make it a perfect fit for almost anyone. I had bought a chair from a store and had to return it since the back support landed on my mid back instead of my lumber. I am very happy with it.
