Adore this chair. Extremely comfortable for hours on end. Use it full-time, 4 or 5 days per week. Great if you sit a lot or if you have a touch of arthritis. Generous size. Had it a year now, and not a single complaint. This is my first all-five star review. Just love the chair!

I would have loved this chair. As another reviewer said, it's quality material, looks very nice and can be comfortable, however, The vertical adjustment on the back rest falls to it's lowest setting. There is nothing to hold it in place. What would be a very comfortable chair ends up being completely uncomfortable. I had to return my chair after 30 days of hastle and attempts to rig the back rest.

Did a bit of research to find which ergonomic chairs were best rated (it is a very risky thing to buy without trying it out first). Of course, I kept all of the packing materials in good shape for a couple of weeks after it came so if it tanked I could have returned it. But, it turns out to be a great chair. Comfy and adjustable enough to make a nice fit.I'd read that it was hard to assemble. It's not. Now, I'm a guy, so you wouldn't expect me to read the instructions, but I did, and maybe reading them made the difference.

Got this chair for my wife's office. Contrary to the other reviewers, I found it to be simple to assemble. It's well put together, very sturdy, comfortable, and very adjustable. At this price point there aren't going to be many chairs that are this nice and this 'ergonomic'. It's not the most beautiful thing around, but it's helping my wife's back already.

Sitting for long periods of time has never been comfortable for me. I am a boney 140 lbs 5'9" guy, but this chair does a pretty good job of keeping my hind-quarters satisfied. I sit in this chair 8 hours a day 5 days a week, so the chair and I have gotten to know each other well. My back and shoulder problems went away within a couple days of sitting in the chair. I would recommend this chair to anyone who needs to sit for a living.

I love the adjustments and the general comfort of the chair. It would be a perfect chair if the chair back had a locking mechanism. The vertical adjustment WILL NOT stay locked and thus when I set it to maximum height where I want it, it slides down to the lowest setting in just a couple minutes. I haven't figured out how to rig it to stay yet. It has made the chair an overall disappointment which is a shame as so much is good about the chair. If you're shorter and won't need the higher back setting, you'll likely love this chair.

I don't have a lot of experience with office chairs, but this one seems to be at least average or better than most.Likes: Seems firm, mesh breathes well, multiple controls, not too hard to assembleDislikes: Like others who reviewed this chair, I can't figure out what the very front control is for though.I sat in my friend's ergohuman mesh chair, and I highly recommend that one if you can afford it-it is THE most comfortable chair I have ever sat in, which is only like 4 chairs

This chair is perfect. I'm sitting in it for over 8 hours every day and I couldn't be happier! The mesh back is very nice and cooling, and the seat has the perfect combination of cushion and support. I would definatly reccomend his chai to anyone who has to sit for extended periods of time.My only complaint was that I had slight problems assembling the chair. The tools that came along with the chair were not helpful, I had to use my own.

Just purchased 4 of these chairs to replace existing chairs in the offices of our small business. The staff loves these chairs and finds them very comfortable and useful. A good value for the price. The Ergo mechanism is very heavy creating some difficulty in assembly but it went well and they seem sturdy.

The directions could be better. The chair is very cushiony, which makes it higher that the usual chair and my legs are rubbing against the keyboard holder which slides our when I sit to type- I wish it could go lower. It does not have lower back support.

I've had my Ergo Mesh Medium Back Task Chair for almost two weeks and I love it. Looks great in my office and I always look forward to sitting in it. My husband assembled the chair and said it was simple. I had to figure out the adjustments. Took me a while, but that's just me. Once I learned how to use them they were easy. My first impression of the seat was that it might be too wide. It could easily accommodate a large person. I've come to appreciate the extra space and doesn't feel too big. The chair feels nicely padded and I love the arm rests. Both are very comfortable. I'm glad I did not settle for a less expensive chair. I think this one is reasonably priced for the value and arrived within a couple of days which was nice.

Only downside is the chair is heavy and doesn't roll easly on even thin carpet. All the adjustments available on the chair makes it easy to customize to your preferences. Other chairs with this much flexibility are much higher priced. I believe this chair delivers what it promises. I've only had it about 3 weeks and so far only 1 complaint and that is: it not rolling easy on, as I state above. I would definitely recommend this chair.

I love this chair. I bought two of them and put them both together in under 20 minutes. They are super comfy and have eased some of my back problems almost instantly. They look really nice and are very sturdy, they feel high quality. Lots of good features. Great buy.

I've had this chair for almost a week, and the daily neck pain from sitting all day in my former chair is....gone! Every day by about 11am the pain would start, and once it did, that was it. So far, no neck pain. This chair has every adjustment the ergonomic sites list, which is why I got it. The seat bottom has an adjustable tilt/angle; the seat back mesh goes up and down, and forward and back; the arm rests up/down-in/out (or you could leave them off all together). The seat itself is firm, but comfy with good padding. The back mesh is very comfortable, and will keep you cool in the warmer weather and has good lumbar support. I can't say enough about the ability to adjust the chair in so many ways, and I find I do make minor adjustments throughout the day, which I think has helped keep my neck from getting sore. It was easy to put together, however, the parts are heavy and bulky, so for that reason you might want a second pair of hands, but I did do it myself, and was fine. The only slight change I would make, and as a recommendation for those of shorter stature, the depth of the seat is just at my comfort range, as I like to really push my back deep into the chair back. If it was a 1/2 - 1" shorter seat, it was be perfect. It's minor, but if you're shorter than me, and I'm 5'5", it could be a bit deep. Appearance it is perfectly fine, perhaps not the highest quality plastic, but at a glance it's a good looking chair and very functional, which is all that matters to me. Very pleased with this purchase!!
