I bought this chair for my apartment. Assembly was simple enough; however, I was doing it by myself so I took quite an effort. The seat is comfortable and you can recline to a certain degree. All in all, a good chair, especially for students like me.
Desk chair was received in good condition easily assembled and quite an improvement over the old chair it replaced. Time will tell if it was an excellant buy but for now I am 100% satisfied with the purchase.
I found this chair fairly easy to put together even though the directions consist only of pictures. Have written instructions gone out of vogue? I'm very pleased with the look of the chair and it seems to be quite sturdy. The back of the chair is very supportive. I've had no problems with getting it to tilt; you have to pull the lever outward. The fabric is nice and it seems that it will be easy to clean, particularly of the ever-present pet hair in my house. Like one of the other reviewers, I too noticed a strong smell when I took the parts out of the plastic. It was a bit overpowering at first but I sprayed some fabric refresher on it and that seems to have taken care of the problem. Overall, I'm quite pleased and would recommend this product.
