The directions were unclear and I put the pnumatic post in upside down so there is no height or back adjustment. I used WD40 and a mallet to try to remove as the company suggested, but I could not remove the post. I'm using the chair and it suits my needs, its small (for a small work environment) and it has wheels. It does come with arms (not pictured), but I'm not utelizing that feature. I feel like i'm kind of stuck with this product, but it's better than the folding chair I had been using in the past.
