The laptop caddy is working out okay. Issues that could be improved: casters are cheap plastic ones and don't rotate nicely, so moving it around is clunky. Adjustment knobs to raise and lower table and to lock in slope of laptop platform also seem a little fragile. Other than that, works out very nicely. Has a nice look and is very functional

This desk looks nice, was easy to assemble and is sturdy enough. It was worth the price, and although al ittle bigger than I needed, will accommodate my laptop, mouse, and a book , all at the same time.

Bought this for my mother in assisted living and she loves it. We are both pleased with the table. I was able to assemble it by myself. Price ran about $45 less than similiar tables I saw in catalogues.

As the others have said, there are hole mis alignments, it isn't stable (wobbly) and there is no way to adjust the legs.Hold the laptop just fine, but I would love to give this thing up and get something else. Don't waste your $$.

This product was a little hard to put the wheels on but everything else was okay. It looks absolutely fabulous. The only problem I have with it is that it doesn't want to roll across my floor. This is because I have thick carpet so it is understandable that it doesn't like to move.

Assembly was reasonably simple until it came to screwing the base and upright together. The screws would not go in at all. We had to buy a tool to re-tap the holes in order to get the screws to fit. In a few days, one of the wheels broke off.

I found the item to be poorly constructed, with the edges of the wooden desktop unfinished and the plastic receptacles for the metal fasteners not securely placed in the wood, making assembly a problem. Once assembled the product was wobbly and unstable and the knob to tighten the height adjustment didn't do its job. It's on its way back to Overstock.com leaving behind a disappointed gift recipient forced to use his lap for his notebook.

Plastic nuts for use during construction, poor stain job on table top, incorrect parts shipped, and major hole alignment problems that required me to correct poor quality standards during construction using power tools. That said, if you can get beyond the work it takes to get it together and you're not too picky about the quality of the stain it looks pretty good.

The Adjustable Laptop Desk/Caddy is everything the advertisment promised. It is sturdy and appealing to look at. Assembly directions were easy to follow, and all pieces were accounted for and in good shape. Only 2 small issues arose ... 1- There was a slight finish imperfection on the bottom of the desk top. though not a big heartbreak in our eyes. 2- The diameter cut for the tilting bracket was just shy of what was needed to slide onto the frame bar. About 20 minutes w/ a sheet of course sandpaper and all was well! All in all, we a very happy with the final assembly, and have been putting it to good use! :)

The desk/caddy arrived in good shape and in a timely manner. I had read other comments about the difficulty putting it together. I thought myself to be more clever than many...but apparently I'm not. The one tip I can give anyone putting this desk/caddy together is to screw the screws into the plastic screw holders BEFORE trying to put the table together. It's easier to create a tread that way and you won't strip the plastic holders for the screws. When I figured this out it made putting the table together much easier!!!The instructions left alot to be interpreted. For example there was no mention of where to put the washer (it goes between the screw and the tilt adjuster on the tilting side of the table). All in all, my daughter loves the table, it looks great and it gives her much more room spread out her text books, laptop, and notebooks. I would recommend this product highly!!!

It is a very nice looking piece of furniture, however if you are purchasing to use in bed with your lap top, the width of the unit does not provide for enough space to clear the bed and give enough room to use your lap top. You have to be on the edge of the bed to reach it.

The appearance is very nice, the quality is not. The stability of the table is dissappointing, as it wabbles when you type. For the price I was expecting something much more substantial than what I got. Having said all that I use this table daily, it is very convenient if you are a lap top user.

I have my lap top in the livingroom in front of my recliner and this item is great because it's adjustable and it's on wheels for geat mobility! Get one you won't be dissappointed!

Overall am very pleased. Assembly somewhat tedious but I enjoyed the challenge. Many compliments on its appearance. Wish I could lower the desktop a few inches more. Fine looking desk surfaces. Casters are not the best for carpeted surfaces. I may replace them. The product will serve my purposes well.

Now that I (finally!) have this put together, it looks fine and seems relatively sturdy, but it was virtually impossible to assemble. Assembling this thing tested my patience, endurance, and curse word vocabulary. Some of the parts simply flat out don't fit together. It was difficult and awkward to screw together even the parts that did fit. I actually would have returned it, but I had it 3/4 assembled, and the prospect of disassembling it was too depressing. I ended up tossing one of the adjustment knobs that didn't fit and using a bolt from the hardware store instead to finish the thing up. The price on the desk is very reasonable, but in retrospect, I should have bought something more expensive that wouldn't have been a nightmare to assemble.

The ease of assembly was fair.. some parts did not correctly fit together. But other than that the desk works well and appearance is nice for the money.

It looks good and it works ok once you get it assembled the correct way which is not the way the "instructions" are printed. The instructions are just pictures so that's already a bad sign. And not very good ones. Then there's the fact that some of the parts in the assembly instructions are mislabled (I think M was used instead of N - but I'm not sure). Eventually I spent a lot of hours trying to put this together. if you are not used to putting together furniture then you're going to have a hard time. They really need to improve on the instructions - I was squinting and trying to figure out things constantly. And finally I got the thing completed and it was just like someone else posted on their review - the tray part is facing the wrong way. So sometime this weekend when I have more time I will have to unscrew the bottom wheeled portion and turn it around so that the tray is parallel not perpendicular to the bottom crossbar. This is not user error tho, the picture shows you that you have to do it this way (the wrong way). This is way too expensive to be so complicated. I wouldn't purchase this again and I recommend people look for something else.

The laptop desk is really nice because you can adjust so many features to customize it to your location. You can raise or lower the height depending on the chair you're sitting in. The leg of the desk can slide right under your chair so you can pull the desk as close as you want. And you can adjust the angle of the surface where your laptop is placed while keeping a flat writing surface on the side. Plus, the desk looks great.
