Please pay attention that this does not come with A/C adaptors for home or for use outside of a motor vehicle. To get the A/C adaptors that go with the product will cost you over $25 more per unit.
I have to buy cords to use it?? This is just plain stupid. The cords costs almost as much as the frig. Name one other product that does not come with a cord????? Just plain stupid!
I was very unhappy to discover that these come only with the DC cord for the auto, boat or RV. That minor detail was not very apparent in the description when I ordered these. I have been unable to locate a cord in local stores and will have to pay an additional $26.00 to use this in my office (the whole reason I bought these).
The cooler/warmer is small enough to fit into the small workspaces, yet big enough to hold my lunches, at the proper temperature. Very handy!
My husband is on the road a lot during the day and this is perfect for the cold drinks or to keep his snack warm...he just has to remember to unplug it so it doesn't drain the truck battery. :)
Fantastic; they can be used for hot or cold items. Only problem it does not come with an a/c electrical cord. Took a little time locating the UL approved cord but, once I got it all was fine.....
have had these about 2 weeks so can't comment on durability or workmanship - but they are doing well so far. If you expect performance equal to a regular refrigerator, I think you will be disappointed, but if you just need to keep something cool ( I use mine for meds) they work fine. They work better if the contents are already cool when you put them in. I think the product description could have been clearer about the fact that they only come with a DC power cord and a separate converter is needed to run on AC, but I was able to figure that out from previous reviews and so wasn't surprised.
Husband and I bought these with the intention of each of us having a fridge at our offices. First, we had to pay over $50 to purchase 2 AC adaptors by mail order. Both AC adaptors completely failed within about 3 weeks. Now, for all I know, the fridges themselves may still be OK (and they performed reasonably well, keeping my soda cans pretty cold, although I was surprised at just how tiny the fridges are - a 20 oz bottle of soda is too tall to be stored in them). I debated whether I should leave this review, considering it was the AC adaptors that broke. However, we did use the mail-in card that came in the fridge box to order the adaptors, so presumably the adaptors were provided by the fridge manufacturer or an affiliate. The specific adaptors needed were impossible to purchase locally or on other internet sources so we didn't have much choice. And the address on the adaptor order card is for a P.O. Box, with virtually no other contact information, so I don't have much hope of ever getting my money back. Very annoying, to say the least.
great for a road trip and holding some 12oz. cans. it is a lot smaller than i thought it would be. it can only hold 6-12oz cans stacked....
