I was delighted when I opened my email and saw The Ex on sale at Overstock. My son had one but his wife had searched long and hard to locate it after they had seen it at a cooking show. I bought the 'bulk pack' and my daughter got to take one with her when she moved to LA. I LOVE these knives, they are well balanced and SHARP and hold a good edge. They have rapidly become my favorite knives to use. The magnet in each "cut" holds the knives well so there is no fear of them falling out of the holder and the sheaths protect the blades (and curious fingers). Friends are fascinated with THE EX.

I loved this when I first saw it on the web site, but it exceeded my expectations. It is hysterical! It is much larger than it appears in the picture. Good quality rounds out the package. It definitely gets everyone's attention.

The knives are great - the base is made out of plastic, but it is durable. Everyone who sees it in my house wants one.

We bought a set of these for ourselves and for our friends and we both love them!! They are very sharp and heavyweight knives that cut through everything easily. Plus the holder is great. Although it is alot bigger than I imagined. My husband and I love them and I'm glad I saw them on TV!

This knife set looks awesome and is a great conversation piece. We gave it to some friends and they have it prominently displayed in their kitchen, and they use the knives regularly. I highly recommend it as a unique and fun gift.

I have red accents in my kitchen, so I was thrilled when I saw this knife set. Perfect as an accent piece for a big island. When it arrived, I found that the holder was a flimsy plastic, and hollow-sounding. Not surprisingly, the knives were so-so. Perhaps if you just put this on display and never intended for anyone to use it (or even touch it), it would be fine. I couldn't send this cheap set back quickly enough.

Great both in apperance and in quality. Knifes are sharp , fill good in the hand. the EX holder is a great conversation piece. I dont have an ex husband, infact I have a great one, but the holder is hilarious even to him.
