For my purposes these tables will work fine. I bought them to use as "step up" stools for each side of a teak bed that's way too high to use without some help. Their size is ideal for this, and they seem sturdy enough to do the job.
The workmanship on the tops, however, will GREATLY disappoint anyone who wants to take them out of their boxes and use them as tables. There's no way to display them without first filling the gaps in the seams on top and oiling or otherwise moisturizing the teak so that the cracks don't reopen.
I'd buy them again simply because they'll meet my need for unique & attractive teak step stools -- next to impossible to find anywhere. Attractive teak step stools are SO hard to find that making the necessary repairs/refinements to these will be worthwhile for me.
But, because the workmanship is so poor, and the price is still substantial (even with the great Overstock discounts), I feel obligated to give them a below average rating for anyone else.
