Hello, I purchased this item in July 2009. It is now May 2010 and the can is broken but still usable. The foot pedal cover has come off. The top open when it wants too. It would be cute in the garage.

These trashcans are not well constructed. The lid does not fit well onto the top of the can. The metal is thin, and the large trashcan arrived with the lid dented. I returned them. This is unusual for Overstock.com, as items in the past that I have ordered have been of good quality.
