A pot to brew in.
from Anna Maria Island, Florida,  Aug 14, 2009

I purchased this pot to have a container large enough to brew my home made beer in. The process requires a large container to allow for a controlled boil for a 20 minute period. Beer has a tendency to boil over spontaneously and create a dangerous situation in the kitchen. This pot allows for movement off the burner, if necessary, in a safe manner. It is well constructed, has a see through lid will accommodate 3 gallons easily and delivered in a package of two!

You can't beat the price for this stock pot
from Middletown, VA,  Dec 16, 2008

I purchased this stockpot to make Kombucha tea. I make 4 gallons at a time and this pan is the perfect size. I gave the other one as a gift to a friend. The bottom of the pan is not heavy duty but it is just fine for making iced tea or soup or stew. The glass lid is great so that you can see what is going on in the big pot.

Poor engineering
 from Massachusettes,  Oct 8, 2008

Pan is gorgeous. It has one flaw---how can a person stir it without it burning, as it has a deeper groove on the bottom of the pan which would be hard to stir. In other words, the bottom isn't flat.

16 qts is a lot bigger then I thought it was, but this is for the chili, soups and stews that will be made this winter. I gave my daughter the second one and she is looking forward to winter.

Stock pot of cabbage soup
from Washington, MI,  Dec 8, 2007

lots of room for my cabbage soup I make, very sturdy steel, love the see through lids. The hole in the lid let's out preasure that builds up inside the pot. I checked around and couldn't find two for the price I paid. The lids could be a little bigger for the pot, they have just a little bit of play.

Nice For The Price
from Chandler, Az,  Nov 29, 2007

After struggling to make several dishes that require long cooking time and lots of liquids in the wrong size pots I purchased this stock pot. I am so thankful that I did! This is a light-weight stainless steel pot, which makes it easier for older hands and arms to pick up and carry even when full. I have made some soups, stews, and chili since my purchase; and I am extremely satisified with the pot! One tiny drawback, depending on how long your dish cooks; and at what temperature, the handles will sometimes get hot and you have to use something to protect your fingers to pick it up. Cleaning can also be an issue if you have a smaller or shallow kitchen sink. This is a large pot and takes some reaching into to scrub. I do not place any of my pots or pans in a diswasher so I do not know how well this pot would clean in one. I would buy this pot again - I did - purchased one for my daughter! I would encourage anyone to buy this product.

16 quart Stock Pot
from Quincy, IL,  May 15, 2007

We were looking for a stainless steel stock pot that was big enough for soup when I have my huge family over for supper. We've seen them for $50.00 plus, so when I found two for less, I jumped at it and was pleasingly surprised at the quality. I love this item.

Hot tamales
 from Michigan,  Apr 20, 2007

This pot is great to make a fair quantity of good tamales for the cold days up here in Michigan. Also great for big family meals. My sisters use them to make Agua de Jamaica in the summer or Ponche de Navidad for Christmas.

Excellent value for the price. Construction is made of thin aluminum, but it is just a stock pot. Great for making large bacthes of corn on the cob and stews.
