Got a case of 4. Each one was individually packed in its own hard carrying case. The finish is excellent and it feels very good too. Bought this so I could keep two and present the other two to a couple of people for their birthdays. Not only did they like it, so did some of the other people who saw it and I was "arm-twisted" into gifting out one of my own. The only reason I gave it 4 (ideally 4.5) stars, is because the motif on the butt of the cue is short the 10 of clubs to complete a Royal Flush. But that cosmetic defect aside, it's a great cue.
