We purchased these lanterns to use during power outages and we had a power outage the day the lanterns arrived. The lanterns were great!!! If you pivot the head of the lantern up, it lights up the entire room with soft light so you can at least navigate around. We used the lantern as a night light in the bathroom. We also have horses and have used the lanterns to feed early in the morning as we do not have any external lighting. The lanterns throw off a lot of light at the high setting. We love them and think they are a great value. I only wish that the ac power cord came with the lanterns so we could use them without the batteries. I am going to look up the company online an see if we can order the ac power cord from them. Don't hesitate to buy these lanterns, they are worth the money.

I had been looking for these for a while. We had one and it was so great we wanted another one. They can sit or be hung and the ability to adjust the head makes it the first choice light source for nearly all our tasks. I would certainly recommend it to everyone.

Light is softer blue-white cast, ez on the eyes, but not brightness you would want for security. I got an adapter and use as 24 hour nite light in garage as it burns few watts, but then just get a nite lite. LED light glows more than it does travel distance. Nature of the product.

My family used this product during our four hurricanes in 2005, and found them invaluable. Would recommend them,as they have been put to the test! They don't seem very substantial until the batteries go in, but after that, they are one great piece of hardware and work best when pointed at the ceiling for full room illumination.

Wow. This is the best light I have ever purchased. I completely remodeled by backyard (mainly at night when I got home from work), went on camping trips, and used around the house on the same batteries (Never had them die on me). I used this light for 1 year with many many many hours on the same batteries. The only reason I do not have this flashlight anymore is because I accidentally ran it over with my truck after changing a flat tire LOL. I love this light so much I just purchased a case of 6. IT IS THE BEST LIGHT I HAVE EVER USED!!!!!!!

good unit have given them as present to many friends and relitives also use throuout house and garage much better than flahslight also like the high and low feature so far have not recieved any negative response from any of your staff and service since i opened my account with you been over one year randyt

We lose power in our neighborhood quite frequently, I have one of these flashlights in each of the kids rooms, they work great without being too bulky

Got the box set to give as Christmas Gifts and kept two for my Wife and I. For the price, these can not be beat. It is a good lantern, but not a good spot light. The base came off of one of the six and a little glue was needed to tack it back on.

Got the bulk box of 6. Gives off great light, stands well, handles well. Put one on every level in my home, and gave the rest to family.

I bought 6 of these lanterns. They arrived quickly with no damage. However, while the package says Super-Bright 20--LED Pivot Lantern, it is NOT SUPER BRIGHT. If your electricity is off, this would be perfect to light an area enough to keep from bumping into furniture, but don't expect a bright beam to see something clearly. It has a wide beam, not a concentrated beam.

I purchased by bulk, excellent price, used three in house, and placed the other two in our cars, last on in my company van. Tested great, in home, on road side.. My co-worked saw the lamp and are going to order some.

I bought the case for Christmas presents for all the "men" in my family. Unfortunately, they didn't get delivered in time for Christmas, as promised. I joked when we lost power two days before Christmas through Christmas day that their gifts would have come in handy! The lantern is functional, and has a variety of places where it can be used. My husband already used his while trying to fix the water heater, and mentioned how nice it was that it could stand alone.

These lamps are bright and easy to carry and hang. I bought them to hang on the trees surrounding my deck and I am very pleased with the purchase. Excellent delivery, as usual.

3 of the 6 arrived with damaged packaging. One of the 3 in the undamaged packages only has one row of working LED lights. Switch is broken. With both rows working the light is not very bright. Save your money!.

This product's performance in light output is incredible -- imagine 20 LEDs all working together to generate the brightness of a single, yes single candle! Buyer beware if you want anything more than a disused night light with no directional focus of a beam.
