Melinda Wilkinson is the owner of The Queen Bee Baking Company, a gourmet bakery, in Draper, Utah. She has always had a love for baking, and has put her skills to use as a homemaker for 21 years. Her other love is Interior Design, so she enjoys using her design skills for the aesthetics of her products. Inspired by friends and family, she started in on perfecting her recipes to come up with the perfectly balanced flavors you will find in her cupcakes and baked goods. She tries to purchase ingredients locally whenever possible to minimize her carbon footprint, and is a member of the Local First campaign, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing the character of the community through promotion of locally owned business. Items are baked fresh each day and then frozen immediately to lock in the freshness and assure a perfectly fresh treat to her customers.
