In those days, people were pretty conservative but whenever Skippy went out, she always got complements. Maxine was her older daughter and picked up Skippy's love of jewelry. Skippy has moved on to the 'great jewelry box in the sky' but her legacy lives on with Maxine sourcing pearl, gemstone, crystal and shell fine quality adornments and selling them at wholesale prices.
