Oma Gisi's German Bakery is a small bakery in Kinmundy, Illinois. When the owners moved from Germany in 2001, they immediately fell in love with Kinmundy and knew they wanted to stay. They embraced their new home, but missed the hearty breads and scrumptious desserts they had grown up enjoying in Germany. So, in 2009, they opened Oma Gisi's German Bakery in order to bring you the best of both worlds. At Oma Gisi's German Bakery, they use only the finest whole wheat organic flour, whole grains, and freshest ingredients to bake exceptional breads, pretzels, rolls, pastries, and cakes using traditional German recipes.

Not worth it
For the price of these cookies, they are not worth the purchase. I ordered these cookies thinking a nice treat for my mother (being German decent) and was not excited nor happy with the product for what I paid. I can get better cookies at my local bakery. They should be way under $10.....

Great gift
Sent these to my Mum after I visited her, as a hospitality gift. She said they were delicious! She wasn't sure what to do with them all (24) and I suggested a tea party with a few friends. She was thrilled to share them, as they were pretty, and very tasty.
