The famous canoe designer/builder J. H. Rushton, introduced the Indian Girl model in 1902. To quote Mr. Rushton, 'The Indian Girl is strong, light, safe though speedy, graceful yet seaworthy.' They are 100-percent hand built individually using plank-on-frame construction method and are similar to the building of actual ships. You can find the ribs inside the canoe along with the planking. The natural wood finish really brings out the character of a wooden canoe. Comes with a set of two wood paddles. This model rests on a wooden base with a brass nameplate. It'll make a perfect gift for home or office decorator, boat enthusiast, or passionate collector.
