  Because the description of the product seem to be misleading-African blue opal-I wonder what type stone this really is and because I collect stones.this was a big disappointment.

  the turquoise portions of these earrings are much darker than shown in the picture, and although they are large, could not be seen on me due to my dark shoulder-length hair. If U have short hair or are blonde, redhead or grey/white they should show up beautifully.
