What is the Main Street Revolution?
Bidwell Candies was started by the founder Virgil Bidwell in 1920 out of his garage. He had a passion for chocolate and wanted to share that with others. He ran the business for several years then moved it to a storefront sometime in the 1930's. He and his family ran the business for many years. His daughter took over and carried on the tradition for over 25 years.
Bidwell candies has been a local icon since its conception. 90-percent of the materials used are original: copper kettles, marble slabs, etc. The concept is still the same as well as the recipes used. All chocolates are handmade and hand-packed in the USA.
Every day is a fun day in the chocolate world. It is very rewarding to create something out of simple ingredients and we love coming to work!!

Disappointing purchase
The chocolate covering on these pieces was good enough and the caramel and nutty pieces were fine, but unfortunately 2/3 of the box was filled with creams and I thought they were awful. The flavor was muddy and cloying, leaving an aftertaste that lasted a very long time. I didn't find many of the flavors recognizable and none were pleasing. I tossed the box. I wish I would have ordered from *** or even bought **** at the grocery store!

these were just delicious many differnt kinds to choose from chart of what kind of candy was inside and that was anice touch bought another box for a gift and they loved them too we will be ordering again for Valentines day by the way they were shipped out the same day we sent the order in so that was a nice change as well
