Deluxe Chocolate .5-pound Gift Box

I ordered a .5 pound box of the Deluxe Chocolates and a .5 box of the Turtles. When they arrived, I was greatly disappointed on a couple counts. First of all, the box was a cheap looking generic holiday box with no label. Therefore, "Truffles" , illegible, was scrawled on the back of one box in ink pen. I misread as "Turtles", opened the box and instead, got truffles. (I see now, since placing my order, that the turtles are out of stock. Perhaps giving me truffles instead of Turtles was not an oversight.) The second box, intended as a gift, had what I later deciphered as "Del" for deluxe, written in ink pen, I opened it secondly, thinking that this must be the Turtles, to find that it was the Deluxe chocolates. Now, with the plastic off this box,, as well, it was useless as a gift. The appearance of the chocolates, themselves was unappetizing and I'm a chocolate lover and I pitched them. after sampling one of the chocolates. Way overpriced. Furthermore, the gift card that I had requested was not included. This order was a total bust. Had to rush out and get a gift card to replace the box of chocolates in time to present to my UPS delivery man that same evening. Needless to say, would not recommend. I'm stymied at the 5-star reviews raving about these chocolates.

received as a gift. liked them so much I called the company that made them. love the fact that they are made by hand. most of the candy making process takes 2 days to produce one item, that was cool. y favorite was the caramel and whtie thing they called mint bark. thanks for bringing a good quality candy to OS and not the same bland stuff I could get at the grocery store. don't even mind paying more for quality. best value is not in the small box, it is in the bigger boxes with more variety.

ithink the . at the bottom of 5 was not completly vizable and for the price of the chocolates was outrages and you lost me as a member and donot want any more to do with youre overstock.com former customer
