What is the Main Street Revolution?
Bidwell Candies was started by the founder Virgil Bidwell in 1920 out of his garage. He had a passion for chocolate and wanted to share that with others. He ran the business for several years then moved it to a storefront sometime in the 1930's. He and his family ran the business for many years. His daughter took over and carried on the tradition for over 25 years.
Bidwell candies has been a local icon since its conception. 90-percent of the materials used are original: copper kettles, marble slabs, etc. The concept is still the same as well as the recipes used. All chocolates are handmade and hand-packed in the USA.
Every day is a fun day in the chocolate world. It is very rewarding to create something out of simple ingredients and we love coming to work!!

Everyone loves them~!
Every time I have to send a thank you gift for someone I know doesn't have nut allergies, these turtles pop into mind. With the low price or no price for shipping and the reasonable price for these delights I'll be sending these out for a while!

Delicious!
Much larger thank regular Turtles and Katy Dids. They were filled with pecans and the candy had an excellent taste. They last longer because of the size. Would love to have again!

Good caramel
These turtles are delicious, especially the caramel filling. The chocolate candy was good, too, but a little sweet for my taste; a dark chocolate version would be nice. The white box was simple and elegant -- very presentable as a gift.
