What is the Main Street Revolution?
Anne Timpson's skilled use of light and color create vibrant, dramatic pictures. She uses her photography as a stepping stone taking it into a new genre blending photography with her illustration. 'I am fascinated with the interplay of shapes, and color possesses me. It's hard to define where the photography stops and the painting begins. My darkroom is digital but the process of creation is the same. I use a Wacom tablet, which in essence is a digital paint brush, drawing onto a blank screen just as one would a canvas. My fine art prints use the giclee process and are produced using 100 year-old archival ink/paper.'
