Hi,I bought this rolling backpack for college. The pros are that it seems well built, and it can hold all of my college books, my laptop, and gym clothes. The cons are that it tips over from the weight and the handle is a little long (I'm 5'4"). Hope this helps you decide whether or not this backpack is for you.
This backpack is perfect for a semi-frequent traveler. I have traveled with this backpack at least six or seven times domestically and it has always fit the restrictions for a carry-on, even if you expand it. Once expanded, you can easily fit another few outfits/shoes if necessary. I have also backpacked through europe TWICE with this pack and it was perfect; easy to roll through streets when you are tired of carrying it on your back, yet easy enough to throw on your back when hiking/walking up stairs/walking through cobblestone streets. The only drawbacks are that the last time I used it, the right backpack strap broke (and can not be repaired) because it was frayed from traveling so much, AND the pack doesn't stand up by itself if it is expanded and stuffed. But I feel like I got my money's worth, especially since it's so cheap, so I will probably just buy another one and hope it will last me another couple of years.
We purchased this backpack for my daughter to use in middle school - she loves that she can completely access (unzip) the area to load/unload books! We selected this backpack for the features - it has a top carry handle to lift, shoulder straps to carry as a back pack and the ability to add additional inches for the times when she needs to carry additional books. The wheels work great. You will love this backpack for use in school! We do.
