I wanted a light and durable piece of luggage. I was able to cram it full of clothes and gifts, using the side pockets and main compartment to stuff it full of all the things I had and it still only weighed less than 50 lbs at the airport! The price was great and well worth the money I spent. I enjoyed using this bag. After over 6 flights - over 70,000 miles and the bag having been handled by baggage crews and TSA in many different airports, I feel the quality is really great. The zippers and seams held firm, the bag stands up nicely balanced. I enjoy using it so much. I love it.

I' ve just returned from using this bag on a coast to coast trip and it held up wonderfully. I love the extra room and pockets inside & outside. The material is sturdy and the zippers work perfectly. The handle pulled out smoothly and the bag rolled smoothly behind me. I highly reccommend this bag. Go for it.

Just used this rolling duffle on a multi-city-trip - it is lightweight and sturdy, and is also stylish. The extra handles were great for hauling the duffle in and out of the taxi or the baggage carousel, and the buckles held all items securely inside. All I needed was the one bag to hold everything for a 2-week trip; great savings when you consider the extras the airlines are charging us for baggage! I had wished I had purchased two of these...but then considered I don't need it; the one by itself did the job beautifully! -Sue-in-Virginia

This duffle had plenty of space to pack in and was very light. However, the hard plastic on the bottom did not hold up. On our first trip the plastic was broken and cracked by the airline industry and did not hold up. We had to find duct tape to tape up the bottom and corner of the bag in order to secure the duffle bag to make sure our stuff would make it back home after our trip.

This bag was just what I was looking for but after 1 use the zipper pulled away from the base. Unfortunately this was on a road trip to the beach and the bag was not full - only had 1 set of sheets and 2 set of towels in it so it wasn't packed to the max. Maybe it was shipped this way - not sure. And to boot, I couldn't find anyone to repair it. I had hoped to use this lightweight bag on a trip to China but I unfortunately it seems that it wouldn't hold up past the driveway. Since from the time I bought it to the time I used it was a few months, I didn't bother to see if it could be returned. I'd think twice if you are thinking about using this on airlines. Very disappointed.

Given luggage weight limit restrictions these days, I needed something that was very light and not cost a lot. This bag served its purpose when my sister and I travelled to Mexico last month. This bag is so so so roomy that we had not problem bringing back all the stuff we got. The quality is great!

I am completely impressed with my portland wheeled duffel. There is an abundance of room and the organization possibilities are great. The zippers and fabric are excellent and seem to be very durable, too. I really like that it won?t tip over when left standing, even if it?s not full, and it?s good looking and doesn?t look too sporty. I wanted to buy a smaller version of this bag, but can't find it.

It is a great product. I give it to my husband last year for Christmas and He LOVES it. He travels almost every week and the suitcase still intact. Great material, resistant, beautiful color. Thank you!!!

Plenty of space, zippers are giving a little trouble closing after a couple months of travel, shoe compartments have torn loose from material and the outside of bag is showing some tears in frabic. The back plastic split the first trip out like other review stated. Overall the bag has been a poor investment would not buy another one and think it is overpriced should be in the 25 to 40 dollar range

I purchased this duffel bag for my son to go to Austria. It was holding up well and he liked it. I borrowed it from him for a camping trip with my folks and found this bag very practical and perfectly functional. This bag is nice and has lots of room for my camping stuff.

We've only used this bag twice so far. It's very well organized and roomy. We took it to Europe a couple of weeks ago. It was easy to handle and rolled nicely without tottering from side to side. It has the ability to stand without toppling over. I considered purchasing a more expensive rolling duffel bag before I found this brand on Overstock.com. It is a great duffel we have not been disappointed in that regard.

I bought this bag to travel to a wilderness camp for fly fishing in Alaska. I needed a bag that was big enough and tough enough to handle a couple weeks worth of clothes, including my chest waders, and several flights (including bush planes)all over Alaska. The bag worked great for what I needed. It holds alot but is easy to get around with.

This bag is big. We took this bag on a recent missions trip to Africa. I knew that any bag I took there would have to be tough enough to handle some rough conditions - and this bag was amazing. Not only was it able to take the conditions of the terrain and situation without any damage, it made the trip so much easier because the bag is so well thought out. I will buy this again.

I purchased this just before a weeklong trip to New England in May. I had to pack for mild and not so mild weather because it's NEW ENGLAND! Not only did I have plenty of room for everything, but also room for what I purchased there. I highly recommend this.

we bought one of these two months ago and didnt use it until 2 weeks ago on a trip to North Carolina, the luggage is really light weight and handle extremely well, we liked it so much we bought a second one. Does that say it all

I looked over a lot of duffle bags but this one stood out the most based on quality, sturdiness, and spaciousness. I purchased it for my 16yr old son for a trip that I knew required him to bring a bag that withhold his rugged situations. I like the fact that the bottom side is solid and can be layed on a dirty surface without absorbing the filth like a cloth duffle bag would. The spaciousness is unreal and everything is extremely secure. Well made.
