I was about to take my first trip that required a passport since I'd gotten the new ones with the chips in them. I don't know how prevalent "info sniffing" from passports is, but I had heard about it and figured I'd be safe rather than sorry, since in the end my "user experience" would be exactly the same. I ordered the red version ("wine" I think, technically) and I was really surprised at how good it looked when it arrived. It didn't say PASSPORT with a huge seal across the front, or anything. Simple, understated Italian design, and you could tell by the smell that it was 100% real cow. It securely held my passport (and another easily tucked in)through four countries in two weeks. Easy for me to handle and for the authorities to read/scan. The included card slots were a useful touch. A great buy for any traveler.

Used on trip and was glad to have the extra security from Identity theft.

Our family is leaving for a cruise in a month. I purchased these cases to protect our identity in more ways than one. I initially sought a case to hold and protect our passports from general messes. With the RFID blocking case, I can protect my personal information from the bad guys. The case smells like nice leather, and looks pretty general. I don't plan on flashing it anywhere...so plain Jane is good for me. The passport fits in a little snug. At first I was a little annoyed, but now feel secure in knowing that it won't fall out as I put it in my bag or luggage. This truly is a great find for function.

I, too, purchased this item for my boyfriend. I was surprised to see other people in search of the same gift; I was comforted by the other reviews. I don't know if the other gentlemen in receipt of this gift were being kind when they received it. I'm not impressed and doubt I'll actually give it to him. It doesn't look particularly masculine--the color in the photo is much darker. It also has a very strange smell, previously noted by other shoppers. Looks cheap, though I suppose the item's quality is commensurate with price. My own fault for bargain shopping. Even if I had purchased the other color, the smell too terrible. I've had it out of it's packaging for about a week, in hopes it would air out. No dice. I can only imagine it would make everything in your bag smell the same.

We just used these on an international trip and as far as I know they worked. The case looks classy and is a nice size with slots for ID and cards. Nice purchase.

I bought the red version of this passport case for my boyfriends birthday present and he loved it! It actually had a duo tone to it with it being red on the bottom and a darker red on top. I'm guessing it's random how the pattern comes but it's gorgeous and has a nice leather smell to it; no where close to wonderful Italian leather but it works. It's rather elegant and my boyfriend loves the colors. I'm sure glad i picked this one!

My boyfriend was looking for a passport cover for him for a while. This one is really durable, thick, nice looking, and it's also kind of cool because it's the same color as his passport :) So when he is used to looking for his passport among things (color and size-wise) it still jumps right out! (We got the burgundy design)

I purchased this Passport Case as a gift for a friend - wow, was I impressed when it arrived! The case looked like I had spent a fortune - it was so classy. I bought the wine/brown color and the graining was just beautiful and the color shading made it even more handsome. Needless to say - the gift was so well received and others admired it also :) What more can I say? Great item, great price, prompt shipping and delivery - 'Overstock' is my friend! Buy here...

This passport case is attractive and well made, but it has an odd odor. I left it out for days waiting for it to dissipate but it did not. I ended up giving it away.

This was my first purchase thru "O". The product is quality-built with a firm feel to it. The price and shipping was as advertised (excellent!).

Case fits passport nicely. I like the extra slots for cards.

I ordered this Passport case on short notice for a trip overseas. I love it. Slim and well made. Also holds credit cards, etc.

I was uncertain about the quality for the price. Too many sell leather by technical definition but then you find out it's bound by glue or super thin leather with poor workmanship. Certainly NOT the case here and I'm really pleased with this purchase. Leather is of good thick quality but not bulky. The seams are sewn, not glued. The compartments are a perfect fit, not loose or tight. I certainly would buy another Travelon product and of course will continue to do business with Overstock. Communications as to the status of my purchase were awesome. Truly pleased all around.

I really liked the card slots for additional cards and id's.

I'm very happy with the RFID blocker passport cover. I got black leather and the quality was fine - better than some passport covers at twice the price! I particularly like that the exterior is plain, therefore not disclosing any info to "nosy-parkers" looking over your shoulder, etc. Friends were so impressed that they are ordering them for their families in preparation for trips of their own.
