  • It went to Ireland with me!

The converters charged my Iphone, but not my laptop. I was not able to figure out why, except maybe the laptop wasnt getting enough power to charge up. I have been to Germany and burnt out a TV, so I was not going to attempt to alter the converter's voltage.

  • How much power does this provide at 110v? - I'm looking for how many watts.

    Guidelines
    • Hello tomofkent, According to http://www.rapidtables.com/convert/electric/Volt_to_Watt.htm, you can't convert volts to watts since watts and volts units do not measure the same quantity. Watts are equal to volts times amps. I hope this helps and please let us know if you have any additional questions.

    • I believe what tomofkent is asking is how much appliance power output in Watts can this converter handle. I just purchased a Kitchen Aid and I need a converter to use it in the UK. But I need a converter that handle handle the Kitchen Aid's power demand of 300W. Can this converter do that?
