I have debated whether to keep this. I am going to a hot place and this looks like it will be hot around my waist. But I have to have something for carrying a little cash and a few incidentals. It is distinctly stiffer and heavier than a standard pack of its size--to be expected of course because of all the reinforcement. I expect to be wearing lightweight summery clothes and I think this black pack will stick out like a sore thumb. The buckle is hidden under a velcro flap but it's easy to reach in and unhook it without opening the velcro so I think a savvy pickpocket could do that and steal the whole pack. They should extend the velcro flap so that anyone has to noisily open the velcro to unhook the buckle. Otherwise I think it looks great, can hold plenty. If you want to hold more than a small purse, I think travelon sells a backpack.

over all it is ok. but it is kind of small. The one thing that is irritaing is that the belt keeps on coming loose.

The product itself is good; however, I would not recommend it for a small, petite person. I found the pack to be bulky around the waist area so I sent it back. I find the standard fanny pack more comfortable to wear. Also, the anti-lock measures are OK until you actually have to use the pack and then it becomes just too much to get in/out of.

I was hesitant ordering this as I have not had good luck with fanny packs. This came and I love it. The pockets are great, room for my camera, cell phone and even my Nook. It isn't real bulky and pouchy looking. I don't carry a purse so this will be quite handy when I travel or feel the need to take it. I may even order another just to have on hand.

i love this bag. i'm ready for a new one, after 3 years hard use. the waist strap is wide enough to prevent gouging. the phone pocket is perfectly placed. i also hang my camera bag from the strap, and it has never fallen off. i can find everything easily, even tho i tend to stuff things in, and it remains attractive -- for those who like waist packs-- after all this time. all the security features, such as the hidden clasp and the steel-reinforced strap, make me feel confident when traveling. except for the stitching coming loose on one side, nothing has torn or worn, as opposed to every single other pack i've owned in the past 20 or 30 years.

I bought this waist pack because I was traveling abroad...Czech Republic...a very highly pick-pocketed area...felt my items were very secure and safe. Will use this product even at home...(Houston, Tx)...for everyday shopping trips.

I was very happy with the purchase. My son took a 10 day trip to Hungary and although not to enthused to have to take a "fanny pack", he took it none the less and was quite happy with how easy it was to organize all of the things that he needed. He felt that all of his valuables were safe and secure and loved the light inside for use at night to find items. After reading some reviews, I was a bit hesitant about the quality but a 15 year old boy used and abused it and had absolutely NO PROBLEMS and it came back looking brand new. My daughter now wants one.

This waist pack is well made and has many features the ordinary waist pack doesn't---ability to secure the zippers so it it difficult for a would-be thief to quickly open them. The only drawback is the main compartment is not as spacious as depicted in the photo. It is difficult to slid in my wallet(about the size of a checkbook, but wider). Overall, I would recommend this product.

i loved it at first...then 2 weeks later it started coming apart at the seams of the waist band. too bad!
