After spending weeks at the chiropractor from carrying a regular messenger style laptop bag every day, I broke down and tried out this bag. It's fantastic. It distributes the weight very well, the bag is comfortable and sleek. I go through metal detectors every day and have no problems with taking this bag on and off or clearing it through with my laptop inside. I had feared that it wouldn't be large enough, but there are plenty of compartments for personal items as well as the large opening being able to fit my 17 inch lap top, a letter size redweld folder about 3 inches thick and a book or two. I barely even notice the weight. It also looks more professional than like I'm on my way to school. The straps are designed so that they stay in place. You couldn't ask for more.

This is a good laptop backpack - the overall appearance is very sleek and it's well made. I have two issues, however: 1.) It's great that the laptop slides into the side, however, to zip up that area is very hard. Perhaps it's just on my bag with the way the zipper was "installed". Each time I zip it up, I have to turn the bag on it's side and mess around with the zipper to get it going. 2.) The criss-cross straps can really hurt your upper shoulders. I had never had a backpack with these types of straps before and from the reviews, it sounded like a neat idea. Unfortunately, they're not the most comfortable. All in all, however, a good, sturdy laptop backpack.

I had purchased one of these bags for myself earlier in the year at a higher price. My husband decided he wanted one as well. We have yet to use the bags (purchased for a future trip), but the features seem good, especially the ability to slide your laptop out of the bag while still attached. I see this as much safer than taking the laptop out and putting it in a separate container when going through security. The bag appears comfortable to wear, but as I haven't had to tote it anywhere for any length of time, only future experience will be the true determiner. However, for just the features of the bag and the price at Overstock, it is a good deal.

Looks great but started falling apart on my first trip with it. The top tab is pulling away from the seam and one of the straps is starting to do the same.

This backpack looked okay and was sturdy, unfortunately, it was too stiff and difficult to use. The crisscrossed straps made it so uncomfortable to carry that I returned it.
