have been using these many times and they keep their qualityRead More
I have only made one journey thus far with this set, but it was a 5,000 mile journey, with 2 stops and plane changes.Read More

They were out of the blue so I got the gold. Great color. The handle and wheels look very solid. It's nice that they expand too.Read More
This is an okay set if you do not travel a lot. As a frequent traveler, I find it not easy to move through airports using all 4 wheels. When using pushing it on 4 wheels instead of dragging it on 2 the handle seems a bit weak and flimsy. The partition between top and bottom on the smaller bag was missing the receivers for the clips to insert into so when you open it the items on top just spill out. I have traveled with the carryon at least a dozen times and though it seems to be holding up okay, overall it seems pretty weak and I wonder when it will just fall apart. They have maintained their shape so far even though they are getting banged up a bit from all the throwing by baggage handlers.Read More
The set contains a roll-aboard size and one slightly larger for checked baggage. I have used and appreciated both; I've used the larger bag for week-long cross country and international trips and the smaller one for overnights. They are sturdy and serviceable and the handles, wheels etc. work well. They did have a strong plastic odor when new, but that has faded and is no longer noticeable.Read More
I ordered the gold set and was a bit concerned with it being too flashy, but thankfully it's more of a beige color. The solid cases are sturdy, and the single pocket is enough for toiletries. This item was purchased for someone who travels 24/7 for a living, so it will need to stand up to the rigors of constant use. So far, so good!Read More
I haven't used them yet but I've very excited to do so for my next trip! They are large and the inside have the nice pockets to help you stay organized. The "gold" color was perfect, more like a beige.Read More
Just traveled for a long weekend. The luggage held up well to the baggage handlers and was the perfect size for my needs. The true test will be in the next two upcomng trips. I got the "gold" which isn't gold at all but so much better, a very nice metallic tan. Excellent value so far.Read More

Hardside Luggage vs Softside Luggage
There are some very obvious differences between hardside luggage and softside luggage. But there are also a lot of more subtle differences, and knowing all the differences between the two types of luggage can help you find a luggage set that is right for you and makes your travels easier. Materials: Hardside luggage is usually made of aluminum or polycarbonates. They are chosen because they have a good strength-to-weight ratio. Softside luggage is made of a variety of materials, including vinyl, cotton, polyester, leather and other durable materials. These materials are chosen because they are lightweight, flexible and durable. Features: The features offered on softside and hardside luggage are nearly identical. They both often offer wheels and extendable handles for convenience when carrying the luggage. Inside, they can have an array of pockets for holding toiletries or preventing clothes from getting wrinkled. What can be different is that softside luggage typically has several pockets that are accessible without opening the suitcase. Also, softside luggage almost always uses zippers to hold it close, but hardside luggage will have some type of latch to secure it. Price: Many factors determine the cost of luggage; one of which is the materials it is made of, but features, size, brand and other factors play a part as well. Not all hard materials are the same and not all soft materials are the same, but on average, the initial cost of hardside luggage is going to be higher than the initial cost of comparable softside luggage. One thing to consider though is value. If you are a frequent flyer, the initial cost of hardside luggage might be offset by its longevity. Use: If you are someone who keeps their luggage close to them and will only take a carry-on with you, the lightweight, flexibility of softside luggage might be better for you. The rigid shape of a hardside case doesn't always conform to the shape of an overhead bin; however, if you like to check your bags, hardside luggage is less likely to be damaged when thrown around in the holding area and will keep its contents from getting crushed when another bag gets thrown on top of it. Bottom line: When it comes down to it, both softside luggage and hardside luggage do the same basic thing. But the choice is about you and what you want. Do you want something that is incredibly durable and will protect everything inside of it? Or would you rather have luggage that is more flexible and lightweight?
