Used the bag twice and it broke. Manufacturer was not helpful in a repair. I would never recommendRead More
This is actually the 2nd time I purchased this suitcase. Works very well for a frequent traveler.Read More
The reason I say I wouldn't recommend it is that I was hoping, from the description, to be able to have my husband pack his suit along with a few other things for a few days trip. It is a very good concept, but if he can get his suit to fit, he will be lucky to get his dress shoes and a few small things in. There isn't room for anything else. He has played with it a few nights now to get ready for our trip and can't figure out how to get it to fold correctly for the hangers. It is, however, well built and carry-on size; which we wanted and the front zip pocket will hold his laptop.Read More
Just as described. I haven't used it as yet, but will re-evaluate after that use.Read More
The hybrid design is a nice concept except the inside lining does not withstand much weight which started to rip after a year of frequent use. I carry boxes on the handle and it bends with weight more than a laptop bag. The zippers were taking turns coming off which you can repair yourself if it is not completely broken and you don't loose the zipper handle. For me being a frequent travel it was worth the 2 years it lasted but will be looking into another bag that is more durable and keep my bag for my wife for accessories and repair as I purchased one for her who travels less and will get more use out of the bag.Read More
Best suitcase I ever bought! Frequent business traveler for 3 to 5 days at a time. This easily holds 3-4 days of business attire (women's) in the garmet bag section, then flip it over to the traditional suitcase side and it holds a TON more (jeans, shoes, whatever you need to pack). There is an expandable feature, but I"ve never had to use it. The bottom is hard shell plastic and can take a beating! There are plenty of pockets/compartments. When I got mine, I did notice one of the straps used to secure the toiletry bags was sewn in crookedly. It actually broke completely the second time I used it, but it really didn't matter. There are two toiletry bags and they each have two straps/snaps to secure them. It still functions fine (I just put my heaver stuff in the one that has the two straps). I think I was an isolated manufacturing issue, but defininitely not critical enough to not get the bag. The handle expands/collapses easily. The bag makes it down the aisles of aircraft and stores with ease. Plenty of exterior handles so you can grab it upon landing no matter how you stowed it. THis is hands down, my favorite purchase from Overstock. In fact, I'm thinking of getting another one in case this one ever wears out or I need an additional bag. You can't go wrong with this suitcase if you travel for business or pleasure. Love, love, love it!Read More
I bought this for a 3 day Miami - London trip for a wedding. I needed a wardrobe bag to carry my suit for the wedding, which I did not want to wear on the long flight. I generally dislike normal garment bags, because i feel they are not very practical in most cases for me. I happened upon this item, and thought I'd give it a try. The price was about $xxx, but after cashing in my "O" bucks, it was about $42 shipped. It is very well constructed. Don't expect samsonite silhouette build quality, but it is easily 1/3 the price, but not 1/3 the quality. Out of the box, it had a fairly strong "new" smell. I left it open for a few days and it disappeared. It is a great carry-on piece with a lot of functionality. The handle works effortlessly, and it piggybacks a hefty briefcase or backpack on top quite nicely. The wheels seem sturdy. I walked a lot with it during the 3 day trip, on all sorts of surfaces, from smooth to quite rough (cobblestone), and it was great. Time will tell as to durability, but for the money, a great buy. My suit? I'm a 46 XL, and a 2 piece suit and dress shirt folded nicely into the included zippered garment pouch. Very few wrinkles. Highly recommend this item.Read More
I bought this for a recent business trip after being forced to check my regular garment bag because they now are saying garment bags are too big as carry-on on the airlines I travel, perhaps on all arilines. So, I saw the movie Up in the Air (Clooney) and he had a regular sized carry on with a suit bag inside it - mostly known as a hybrid carry-on. I saw the photos of this one and read some reviews of this and others and this one had a great price and a lot of positive reviews, so I figured I'd try it out and IT WORKS GREAT! I didn't honestly believe I would be able to get all my stuff in for the trip, but I did - 2 full business suits, 2 pants, 4 shirts, the usual underwear and personal items. I thought, due to size and the tri-fold way the garment holder folds back into the suitcase that everything would need pressing, but actually everything came out the same as it does from the regular sized garment bag I use - a little steam in the bathroom with the shower on and all was fine. I would recommend this to anyone going on a short business trip, or any short trip requiring you to take a suit etc - it has tons of pockets, it's very sturdy (solid type shell) and it's exactly the right size for an overhead bin. I gave it 5 stars because it is exactly as described on the internet AND a great bargain too!Read More
Purchased this 21 inch upright garment bag for a 5 day business trip. I was able to pack two suits, plus 5 or six dress shirts in the garment bag portion. I was then able to fit 6+ polo shirts, 1 pair of pants, 1 pair of shorts, 1 pair of shoes, socks, underwear, etc.. for 5 days. I was very impressed with how this little bag was able to expand. I purchased a larger / higher end garment bag from **** "just in case" this little bag couldn't hold everything, but to my surprise this bag exceeded expectations. The **** bag has already been returned. I could buy two of these for the price of one Samsonite. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.Read More
Bought this for my husband who travels on business 2 weeks a month. The bag did not hold up well and in only a matter of months the handle was broken and the bag was showing wear. Have bought other bags over the years that have been able to stand the test of time. May be okay for leisure travelers but would not recommend for frequent business travelers.Read More

Hello LaurenR, the color appears to be more of olive green color. We try to represent the colors of our products accurately. Unfortunately, due to the difference in monitor colors we cannot guarantee that the color will match exactly what you see on your screen.
It's definitely not a dark green. I'd call it a moss green or light green.
Can the large outside zippered pocket hold a 15" laptop?
Thank you for contacting us mothermo247. The width of the suitcase is 15 inches, so therefore the large front pocket is about 13 inches enabling to hold a 15 inches laptop. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
Thanks for answering my question...but I couldn't wait, so I already ordered and received it hoping it would work...and sure enough, it did! My husband's 15" laptop fits great! In fact, I would even say a 17" laptop would fit (but we don't have one to try, just going on the extra room around mine)! My hubby LOVES this suitcase!

Business Case Buying Guide
The way you choose to carry your work speaks volumes about you professionally. A good business case can make all the difference in the respect shown to you by the colleagues in your business organization. It makes sense, too; your choice of briefcase or laptop bag shows the level of business concern you have for your work. Of course, the admiration of your co-workers isn't the only benefit provided by a great business case. The right briefcase can also help you stay organized and may even add an underlying dash of style to your work life. Picking the right bag requires a number of considerations, but it doesn't have to be complicated. Save the hard work for when you're on the clock: finding a perfect travel bag, laptop bag or luggage shouldn't be a confusing mess of frustration. To simplify the task of finding a good bag for your needs, break it down. You will want to consider several attributes for your new business case or travel bag, including how you will be using it, the sort of shell that best suits you, your preferred material and the carrying style that will fit your work.
Hardside Luggage vs Softside Luggage
There are some very obvious differences between hardside luggage and softside luggage. But there are also a lot of more subtle differences, and knowing all the differences between the two types of luggage can help you find a luggage set that is right for you and makes your travels easier. Materials: Hardside luggage is usually made of aluminum or polycarbonates. They are chosen because they have a good strength-to-weight ratio. Softside luggage is made of a variety of materials, including vinyl, cotton, polyester, leather and other durable materials. These materials are chosen because they are lightweight, flexible and durable. Features: The features offered on softside and hardside luggage are nearly identical. They both often offer wheels and extendable handles for convenience when carrying the luggage. Inside, they can have an array of pockets for holding toiletries or preventing clothes from getting wrinkled. What can be different is that softside luggage typically has several pockets that are accessible without opening the suitcase. Also, softside luggage almost always uses zippers to hold it close, but hardside luggage will have some type of latch to secure it. Price: Many factors determine the cost of luggage; one of which is the materials it is made of, but features, size, brand and other factors play a part as well. Not all hard materials are the same and not all soft materials are the same, but on average, the initial cost of hardside luggage is going to be higher than the initial cost of comparable softside luggage. One thing to consider though is value. If you are a frequent flyer, the initial cost of hardside luggage might be offset by its longevity. Use: If you are someone who keeps their luggage close to them and will only take a carry-on with you, the lightweight, flexibility of softside luggage might be better for you. The rigid shape of a hardside case doesn't always conform to the shape of an overhead bin; however, if you like to check your bags, hardside luggage is less likely to be damaged when thrown around in the holding area and will keep its contents from getting crushed when another bag gets thrown on top of it. Bottom line: When it comes down to it, both softside luggage and hardside luggage do the same basic thing. But the choice is about you and what you want. Do you want something that is incredibly durable and will protect everything inside of it? Or would you rather have luggage that is more flexible and lightweight? How to Choose Carry-on Luggage
People who travel frequently know that carry-on luggage is the fastest way to get in and out of an airport, bus or train station. Others travel with only carry-on luggage so they can avoid the hassle and, sometimes, the expense of checked luggage. Read on to learn how to choose carry-on luggage.

Benefits of Using a Travel Backpack When Traveling
Travel backpacks offer a number of benefits for all types of travelers and may be an attractive alternative to larger tote bags, duffel bags and miniature suitcases. Whether you're traveling with a backpack over a long distance or traveling by plane with a small backpack as a carry-on, use a travel backpack designed with extra compartments and tight-fitting, portable style to ensure a comfortable travel experience. Easy to stow and store: The design of a travel backpack makes it easy to store it in overhead bins in a bus, train or airplane. The soft sides of a backpack let it conform to tight storage spaces. Many travel backpacks have compression straps that let you cinch the packs contents down to take up less space. Comfort: Travel backpacks put less strain on your body than most other kinds of luggage because their weight doesn't pull on one side of your body. Travel backpacks are designed to evenly distribute their load on your shoulders and hips, making them easy to carry for several hours. Thick straps with lots of padding make it even more comfortable. Keeps travelers organized: Many travel backpacks are designed with several compartments to store smaller items, such as water bottles, a cell phone, MP3 player, PDA, passport and subway tokens. This makes it easier to stay organized while traveling, ensuring that all your basic items and accessories are within easy reach. Easy to move around: Probably the biggest benefit of using a travel backpack is the ease of movement it provides. You don't have to worry about dragging a rolling suitcase up a flight of stairs. A travel backpack is also easier to maneuver through a crowd of people than most other types of luggage. Protects items from the elements: Many travel backpacks are made with water-resistant and waterproof fabrics that protect your valuables no matter what the weather forecast may look like. Travel backpacks made with polywick fabric, ballistic nylon and other weatherproofing materials are especially beneficial for travelers who will be outdoors for most of their trip. Traveling internationally can be stressful. Even with extensive planning, unexpected annoyances can create turbulence. The friendly skies may be smooth sailing once you're in the air, but much of the frustration can occur before you even reach the gate.
