Traveler's Choice Rome 3-piece 'Spinner' Hardside Luggage Set

My husband and I were looking for a new luggage set for our cruise and was looking for something durable that would last a long time since we travel a lot , as well as something that looked different. I spent countless hours online researching different styles and types of luggage and wanted something that was a good value. I must have read many reviews on the products I researched. I read almost all the positive and negative reviews on this product, but finally decided to buy this 3 piece luggage set from overstock.com, because it has the best deal. I was concerned about it not being strong enough for our frequent travels, but my husband is literially travelling once a week (he works for boeing as a consultant). He suggested that he would test out the quality of the luggage when he travels. If the quality is not good, we can then contact overstock.com to return the whole set. My husband came home two days ago using the biggest suitcase. He loaded the suitcase with all his samples and it performed well. It was very light and the material is superb. We will keep this luggage set and would highly recommend it.

I recently purchased this luggage for an overseas trip i have this summer to Europe. Luckily i was able to use it a lot sooner! This spring break i went to Wisconsin. DFW to Milwaukee. The middle sized piece of luggage took a beating and held up well. One of the corners was dented in. When i got to my destination, i opened it up and popped it out. Perfect! You could kind of tell it had been hit or scuffed there, but hey its luggage. Mine also went though one bag inspection by TSA. So far so good. Zippers are great and the wheels glide so easy. It is very easy to spot your luggage, mine is the silver, when they come off the baggage claim. There is a small zip pocket inside for personals or bath items. The top half inside is also zipped which is a great place for shirts since there lighter than jeans or slacks. Overall i was impressed. I read about 50 reviews on this and decided to take the plunge. Great decision! PS. Let them air out when you get them or put a bounce sheet inside. Smell a little wierd. Like plastic or something.

I was extremely surprised at how quickly I received the luggage from overstock and the luggage looked great. I unzipped it and let it air out for about a day or two before I began packing and it was fine. I was a bit concerned about the weight issue since I have had to pay extra at the airport many times in the past for my luggage being overweight. This is no longer an issue with this luggage. If anything I was underweight! The true test was how durable it was going through the airlines. My siste and I flew to JFK to see my brother some time ago. I was pleasantly surprised when I picked up the luggage from baggage claim with not even a scratch on it! Since the initial trip, we have used the luggage two more times with absolutely no issues, dents, marks or scratches. It's so easy to locate your luggage on the baggage claim carousel, as it's not your typical black luggage that everyone else has. Another feature that I love is the spinner wheels. I have never had any luggage with those and now I can't live without them! It makes it so much more convenient and easier to maneuver around.

My wife and I have had the opportunity to traveled the world quite a bit in the last few years and have always wanted some updated hard side luggage. This really was the answer. We had enough room in the larger bag for a very long weekend trip for the two of us. With the zipper side we were able to each pack our own side and not have to worry about who packed what on which side. It held up well with plane transfers, we found a few scratches when we got home but nothing to alarming. Love the set so much we are thinking about ordering another set just so we can have the two big suitcases!!
